Big Shift from Newt to Mitt (and maybe Santorum)

Big Shift from Newt to Mitt (and maybe Santorum)

Folks,

Last night’s debate in Florida was revealing. Mitt has a new
debate coach and it showed, big time. He was outstanding, strong, forceful and
most presidential. Newt ran lots of attack ads over the last few weeks and he spent
most of the night on his heels, backing off from the charges he leveled against
Romney in these ads. It seems to me that Newt is still angry for what Romney’s
ads did to him in Iowa and he has decided to fight fire with fire but that
train has already left the station, but Newt still seems petty and angry.

I suspect that Romney will win Florida with a fairly large
margin. He fielded every Newt attack and in fact he boomeranged every one of
them back against Newt.  Newt will have
to recalculate his strategy. His attacks on Bain Capital, Newt’s investments in
mutual funds and the Cayman Islands bank accounts have back fired and Newt
needs to regroup.

Santorum was great! The more time he gets the better he
looks. The more time Ron Paul gets, the worse he looks and sounds. And at this
point, the more time Newt gets, the worse he’s coming out.

Romney has been steady and he’s actually getting stronger.
Last night Romney (new coach?) seemed to be making a subtle overture to the Tea
Party. He said he became a stronger Conservative after he was Governor of
Massachusetts and he also stated that he never voted for a Democrat when there
was a Republican on the ticket. Additionally, he went out of his way to
distance himself from Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton.

The only real unknown (for me) is whether Rick Santorum will
gain any ground on the two leaders. Rick was outstanding tonight. He carried
himself above the fray and offered facts, details and consistency. His attacks
were factual and not ad Hominum, like Newt’s were. In fact, Rick won the
statement of the evening when he challenged Wolf Blitzer (Newt style) to
elevate the debate to more meaningful issues, rather than the trivial nonsense
of how Newt used his political experience to make money after he left Congress
and how Mitt made lots of money in his private life and invested it wisely.

At this point I feel better than ever that an excellent
Republican candidate will emerge as our representative against Obumma and I am
more convinced than ever that our candidate will bury Obumma in a landslide
victory come November. The question that still remains is who will that
candidate be? If last night were the end game, than our candidate would be
Mitt. But, there is still a long way to go and I suspect the lead will change a
few more times. A really big question is will Santorum ever get the chance to
occupy first place? I doubt it but if he ever does, I’m not so sure he will
ever relinquish it.

Go Tea Party!!

The State of the Union Address

The State of the
Union Address

Folks,

Tonight is The State of The Union Address. Before you watch it or read about it please ask
yourself a couple of questions.

Are you a Liberal Democrat or an idiot? But, that’s redundant, is it not?

OK, let me start again.

Do Do you have any critical thinking
skills?

Do Do you possess any objectivity?

Can you tell when you are being
hoodwinked?

Tonight, Obumma will be telling us about “Fairness”….as defined by him and his Crony
Capitalist pals. He will be feeding us another serving of “Redistribution of
Wealth ”, the poor against the rich and Wall St vs. Main St. He will actually attempt to convince us about
the unfairness of our tax code by using a human prop, Debbie Bosanek, as an
example of someone who has been abused by our system. Debbie is Warren Buffet’s
secretary. Of course, this audacious approach assumes that you have checked
your brains and the door and that his showing you a single, anecdotal, real
life case of the horrors of Capitalism will be enough to get us all to fetch
the pitchforks and torches and to run the Capitalist bastards out of town.
Doesn’t the “Great Uniter” bring us together so nicely….as he promised?

Obumma will use Debbie to PROVE to all of us that Mitt Romney, who just released his 2010
and 2011 tax returns pays less taxes than Debbie. This deceitful slight of hand
was suggested to Obumma by his Campaign Manager, David Axelrod, in Chicago. No
matter that this is supposed to be a State of The Union speech rather than a
campaign speech. Hell, the pres has the bully pulpit and he can do whatever he
wants with it.

Romney’s tax returns show that he paid a tax rate of 13.9 % in 2010 and 15.9 % in 2011 and that he gave the IRS over $1 million. Debbie’s tax returns show that she paid a tax rate of 34%.  Obumma will stir up the juices of the deaf, dumb, blind and brainless by claiming how unfair this is and he will actually
state that, “…..if we ever are going to resolve our debt and deficit problems
in this country, we’re going to need to give the middle class a break and the
rich are going to have to contribute more to the burden”. This deceit will be
recognized with planned applause from the Democrats sitting in the Capitol and
the opposition will keep their fannies in their seats, as the theater is
continued. Those at home who have no brains will be making note of this
unfairness so that they can go to work tomorrow and tell their fellow idiots at
the water cooler how upset they are
about our unfair this tax code and how Obumma is such a good and decent man
with concern for the middle class people, like Debbie.

Now, what Obumma will not tell us is:

There’s a difference in the tax code
between payroll taxes and Capital Gains Taxes. Payroll taxes are based on salary
income and Capital Gains are based on investment income.

T
he tax rate on payroll tax ranges from zero to 40% and higher. The max rate on Capital gains is 15%.

There is no doubt that our tax code needs reform. However, another thing that Obumma will
not tell you is that if the IRS taxed every millionaire and multi-millionaire
at a 100% rate, it would not make a dent in our debt or deficit.

Our debt is $15 trillion and climbing and out annual deficit is $1.5 trillion. That means
that we are taking in $1.5 trillion less than we spend, every year. That is a
budget problem. More specifically, that is a spending problem. There are only three ways to resolve this
economic crisis:

1) Increase revenues
2)
Cut spending
3)
Go bankrupt

Since going bankrupt is not a tasteful option, we are left with increasing revenue or
cutting spending. Increasing revenue is NOT the same as increasing taxes. One
can increase revenues through growth while keeping the same tax rates. Growth
is a manifestation of private industry increasing our GDP and putting more
Americans to work, (who will pay payroll taxes when they are working rather
than receiving unemployment checks when they don’t work) and creating new
products and increasing profits and investing more capital into the successful
business and again hiring more Americans who will pay more payroll taxes, etc.
etc. Got the idea? Increasing taxes has a contracting result on our economy
because it takes money out of the private sector and sends it to Washington
where it is wasted, abused, stolen, used to buy votes, provide more entitlements
to buy votes, bribe unions to buy more votes, etc.

So, what Obumma will not tell us tonight is that he is prepared to cut spending. Why?
Because he is intent on growing government. Why? Because it brings more money
into Washington and gives him more power to buy more votes. Now, Obumma is not
the first president to figure this out. Almost all politicians follow this same
program. The difference in this instant case is that while spending more and
growing government, Obumma has promised to “Fundamentally transform America”.
What does that mean? Well, we didn’t know when he was first elected. But, after
watching him and his actions and his policies for the last 3 ½ years we can see
that he wants to transition us to a European Socialist economy with lots of dependents
and an Entitlement Society. He finds capitalism too harsh. He leans towards
government central planning and control and he trashes our Constitution, as
needed, to get his agenda continuing forward.

Is all the above partisan crap or is it true. Well, if your brains are not checked at the
door and your eyes and ears do work, watch and listen hard tonight. See if you
get the same impression as I just stated above.

While looking and listening, ask yourself why Obumma has nixed the Keystone pipeline
and the 20,000 to 100,000 jobs that it will create while lessening our
dependency on foreign oil.

Ask yourself why Obumma refused to allow Boeing to move its plant to South Carolina, a Right
to Work State. Boeing wanted to get away from the union costs so it could
compete internationally. Obumma’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, sued Boeing.
By the way, Obumma stacked the NLRB with pro union leadership so that the NLRB
would vote against Boeing and others that are trying to be more competitive and
get away from expensive union contracts and costs.

Ask yourself why Obumma loaned Brazil $20 billion to drill of our coast while at the same
time his EPA prevents us from doing so because of the BP spill from last year…..(which
was supposed to take 40 years to clean up and which in fact was cleaned up and
ready for this year’s tourist season).

Folks, if you have a brain and you possess any objectivity then you must realize that
this bum, Obumma has been lying to us for 3 years, now. It is time to Throw the
Bum Out.

Romney did a great job in business and in the Olympics but…..people don’t relate to him very
well.

Gingrich has big ideas and he’s brilliant but he has a checkered past and people don’t like
that.

Santorum is solid on family values and is a strong Conservative with an excellent record,
but people are afraid that he’s too far too the right.

Ron Paul has the right rap on the economy but his foreign policy seems to be left of Obumma.

None of them are perfect, but every one of them will do a better job than Obumma. Keep this
in mind as you watch and listen to the lies and the deceit tonight. Stay alert.
Ask yourself what the motive is and try playing devil’s advocate and prosecuting
attorney and listen to what Obumma says and more importantly to what he doesn’t
say.

Then, I hope you will join our “ANYBODY BUT OBUMMA” team and work hard to Throw this bum
out!!!

JOIN THE TEA PARTY AND THE ANYBODY BUT OBUMMA TEAM

Join The Tea Party
and the “Anybody but Obumma” Team

Folks, by now I'm sure you are all arguing over whether you can vote for Newt if he wins
the nomination. There are many of you out there who like Romney and hate Newt
and have not even considered Santorum. Well, please be aware of the head-fake.
If you are not in the "ANYBODY BUT OBUMMA" camp by now, you are
seriously missing the point. It doesn't matter how you feel about Newt or Mitt
or Rick. What matters is you have got to realize the threat that Obumma is to
our country, Capitalism, Free markets, security, fiscal soundness, etc. You
have got to ask yourself if you owned the business would you ever consider
re-hiring Obumma as your CEO? Based on his past record? Would you continue to
accept his "Blame everybody else" excuses? Then, when you look to the
replacement list and find flawed candidates while you continue to search for
the perfect republican do you then throw the baby out with the bathwater or
will you join the "ANYBODY BUT OBUMMA" camp. Hell, you were in the
"Anybody but Bush" camp in 2008 and that's how we got here. You can't
really be considering compounding your error, can you?

I understand that Newt is flawed and that he frightens some people. He frightens Republicans
because they think he is unelectable (because the liberal media and the Republican
Establishment tell them so). He frightens moderate Democrats because they are
afraid of Conservatives and like middle of the roaders, like Romney. Whatever,
if you love your country, you need to get Obumma out of Our House and you need
to go with the anti-Obumma group, whoever they may be. Then we'll manage that
imperfection, but it least we'll be out of the emergency room and into rehab.

So, please join the "Anybody But Obumma" team and give the White House, House
and Senate to the Tea Party folks, and give them a chance to right the ship. I
promise you, they will fix it all and real quick.

If you agree with smaller, less intrusive government, you agree with the Tea party.

If you agree with fiscal responsibility, less spending, less taxes, more jobs and more
growth and reduced deficit, and a balanced budget amendment you agree with the
Tea Party.

If you agree with secured borders, English as out official language and enforcement of our
immigration laws, then you agree with the Tea Party.

If you agree with peace through strength and a strong military then you agree with the Tea
party.

If you agree with personal accountability and independence rather than an entitlement
society you agree with the Tea Party.

If you are against class warfare and against redistribution of wealth then you agree with
the Tea Party.

If you favor Capitalism vs. Socialism, then you agree with the Tea party. If you
believe in our Constitution rather than activist judges then you agree with the
Tea party.

So, if you agree with all the above, why don't you declare yourself as a Tea Party Member?
I'll tell you why. Because the liberal media and the Democrats have painted the
Tea Party as radicals, extremists, gun toting, racist, right wing nuts (as
opposed to the Occupy Wall St crowd, who the liberal Press and the Dems have
painted as true Americans speaking their voice). And, you'd rather be viewed as
a reasonable, middle of the road, sensible moderate. Well folks, if you have a
brain in your head, you must stop allowing the liberal media and the Democrats,
or anyone else to form your positions and to define you and to frighten you and
manipulate you. Stand up, Americans! Tell the media to go to hell and support
the things you believe in. I am not a radical, gun toting, extremist, racist,
right wing nut but I am a Tea Party Member and I do love America. I am in the “ANYBODY
BUT OBUMMA” camp. Please join me and save our country and our way of life for
our children and grandchildren.

Throw this divisive bum out and all his Democrat enablers as well as his RINO enablers and give the
Tea Party a chance. Don't listen to the Liberal media. They are the tool of
Obumma and The Dems and the Republican Establishment. It's time to break the
Washington cycle and ............

Throw The Bums Out!!!!!!!!!

POST MORTEM on SOUTH CAROLINA PRIMARY

Post Mortem on South Carolina Primary
(1/21/12)

Folks,

Last night’s results in South Carolina came out pretty much as I predicted, except I thought
Mitt would have been a lot closer in second place. Nonetheless, to all my
friends and family that are supporting Mitt…..do not despair. As the Yogi man
said, “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over”. We have only covered 1 caucus and 2 primaries.
There are 47 more states remaining and we have a long way to go.

There’s no doubt that Newt capitalized last week on, of all things, the liberal media. He
hit a couple of, what turned out to be, “hanging curve balls” out of the park
and these two opportunities, one from Juan Williams and one from John King,
ignited the audiences and the South Carolina Tea Party voters. Some call this
Newt’s sophistry; others refer to it as The Tea Party’s thirst for red meat.
However you look at it, these two responses will not determine the nominee, but,
I am very pleased to report, they will definitely impact the way this primary
campaign is being fought.

I believe that this lop sided result in South Carolina was not only a victory for Newt
but it was also a very big victory for The Tea Party. Newt tapped into the
fervor of American Exceptionalism and the anti-liberal media sentiment that we
Tea Party members feel so strongly about and the power of The Tea Party was
unleashed. While I am certain that the liberal media will not recognize this
factor, in time they, as well as everyone else, will be forced to recognize
that there are a lot more Tea Party voters in our country than those who are
Tea Party members. I believe that many of my friends and family, who are NOT
card carrying Tea Party members, actually believe in EVERY Tea Party principle
but they have avoided outwardly supporting the Tea Party because the Liberal
Media has painted us with the extremist, racist, gun-toting, right wing nut
labels. Once again, the liberal media manipulates the minds of the populace.
Bottom line, most of you believe in what I believe in and what I believe has
been articulated in The Tea Party principles. So, it’s time to come out of the
closet and to declare yourself as Americans who believe in American
Exceptionalism, as well as smaller government, less taxes, less regulation,
Less spending, balanced budgets, economic supremacy, military supremacy, energy
independence, secure borders, English as our official language, Constitutional
judges, and a robust, Capitalist free market economy.

I believe that the SC results will cause Mitt Romney to reassess his campaign strategy and that
is very good for all of us. It will force him to more aggressively seek Tea
Party endorsement. This will elevate the influence of The Tea Party, which I
believe is just what America needs at this point in time.

Until now, Mitt has been able to play it cozy. He has calculated that we, the Tea Party
voters, were a captive audience and we had nowhere to go but to vote for the
Republican, whoever it may be. This strategy allowed Mitt to pursue the
Independent vote and the so-called Reagan Democrats while not appearing to be
too extreme (as defined by the liberal media) and it has allowed him the luxury
of not being beholding to The Tea Party power base. No doubt that this was an
intelligent strategy but, our political process is a lot more complicated than
that. It forces truth, detail, and open dialogue…… (except in 2008 when it failed
us and Obama was given a “free ride” without vetting. Hopefully, we have
learned from that mistake).

So, what happens next? Our political process is wonderful. It will now force Mitt to reconsider
whether he can afford to maintain this “middle of the road” posture that has
appealed to Moderates, so-called Reagan Democrats and Independents (but not
South Carolina Evangelical Conservatives) or does he have to come out of the
closet and attempt to convince our Tea Party Conservatives that he was a Massachusetts
Moderate only because he had to be, in order to succeed in “Kennedy Country”.
He has to modify a bit and convince a lot.

Meanwhile, Newt will have to reconsider if his red meat rhetoric and his anti-establishment
demeanor will sell in Florida and the remaining states or will he need to
modify his posture to attract more Independents, so-called Reagan Democrats and
Moderates. He has to modify a bit and convince a lot.

The beauty of all this is that at the end of this long process we, (those who believe in
America and American Exceptionalism and Capitalism and the Constitution and
smaller government, etc.), will end up with a better nominee and our nominee
will end up with a better platform of campaign promises that will represent the
will of the people. Then the general election will give us all one more chance
to decide which direction we want America to take and to get it right this
time!!!!!

Most importantly……we need to Throw The Bums Out!!!

What is right?

What is right?

Recently, A dear family mamber recently responded to one of my blogs
regarding Socialism vs Capitalism and affirmed that she “totally agreed” with
me and then she asked me……”But what’s right?”

My reply………………..

There is no right or wrong. The question is what is right for you? What is right for me?

How do you determine what is right for you?

Here are some ideas........................................

1) Don't be an ideologue. Be honest with yourself and argue
the opposite side (internally) so you can force yourself to be more objective

2) Don't get your news from the networks. Follow cable news
like CNN and FOX...forget MS-NBC. They have no credibility.

3) Do your own research. Read. Surf the Internet.  Read Blogs from both sides. Listen to talk
Radio. Learn how to decipher fact from hyperbole; truth from fiction; political
rhetoric from truth.

4) Use your brains. Always consider the source and consider
their motive.
            For example................. Ask
yourself why Obumma will not approve the Keystone Pipeline, while he's
preaching that he will do anything to create new jobs and while he's blaming
Republicans for being obstacles and being the Party of "No". Does
that pass the test of reasonableness? Does it really seem reasonable that after
three years of environmental studies he still needs more time for study and he
won’t have an answer until AFTER THE ELECTION? Do you really think that’s a
reasonable and honest answer? If you are an ideologue you will defend it on the
basis of ecological concerns. If you research and argue the case
intellectually, at worst you will be extremely suspicious of Obumma’s  timeframe.

            Another example…….Ask yourself why
Obumma wants to continue the Payroll Tax Holiday and the extended unemployment
payments and why he and the Dems will not address the budget and how to pay for
this stuff but how they will work to demonize the Republicans for attempting to
block this insanity.
Ask yourself about how the Democrats passed
Obamacare, without any bi-partisan support and without ANY compromise and how
they said things like "Hey, we won", and , "Elections Have
Consequences" when they had both Houses and now,THEY want compromise. Does
that seem like the actions of a person who promised to heal the wounds of
Washington’s inefficacy and who campaigned to bring us together?

Ask yourself how Obumma and the
Dems can blame the Republicans for blocking jobs bills when Obumma had the
presidency and the two Houses and a veto proof Senate for 2 full years.  Now, that his policies have failed, he's
blaming the Republicans. Does that pass the test of reasonableness?

After you go through these honest
assessments and realize that both sides are imperfect but each side has a
different ideology, then you need to pick the imperfect side that is closest to
your ideology and not blindly follow a party because they "pretend"
to care for the poor, the blacks, the downtrodden, the illegals, the Gays, the
pregnant, the Latinos, while they worsen the condition of those constituencies
every day by increasing their dependence on government and reducing their
personal independence and self- worth.

5) View THE BIG PICTURE.
Realize that both sides lie and shade their
arguments and distort the facts (that's politics)............but..........both
sides are not the same.

Realize that the Dems have been
hijacked by the hard Left and they support Socialism. That's a plain and simple
truth.

Realize that Obumma is a
Socialist/Marxist. That’s another plain and simple truth that is supported by
his own auto-biographies.

Realize that the Republicans suck also but....they are Capitalists and their ideology
is more in line with the values that I (and I think, most mature Americans)
were raised with.

Realize that the RINOs are weak, dangerous,
and that they cannot be counted on to stand behind their word. They are
disguised. They sway like the wind. They are easily bought and bribed. They are
political prostitutes.

Realize that the Tea Party is
strong, principled and has been labeled "Extremists" by their
opposition and the liberal media. That should be no surprise. What would you
expect their opposition to say? Note that extremist is a term that needs to be
defined in degrees and values. Compared to Obumma and the Dems, yes, we, The
Tea Party, are extremely different. That's not because we're extremists, it's
because the Dems have moved so far to the Left that the difference between us
is EXTREME.

6) Listen good…………………
and with an open mind and pretend you are a prosecuting attorney when you
listen to any politician. You will be better able to separate rhetoric and
nuance from fact and substance and then you will begin to lift the veil of the “Three
card Monty” game that they play. But most importantly, examine your principles,
values and beliefs. Don't be afraid to be called a racist or a Capitalist or a
1% ‘er. There's nothing wrong with being Capitalist, being greedy (as long as
you don't break the law), with making lots and lots of money if you are capable
and able and if you manage to make the right connections or take the right
risk, or even interpret the law to your favor, as long as you don't break the
law. That's what risk is all about and that's what made us great. Now, our
success is under assault by Socialists and Marxists. It's as clear as can be
and unfortunately, ideologues are being swept up in the fray and they are
supporting their side because they have always done so. Therefore, In the
meanwhile, America is going down the drain and your daughters and my
grand-children will pay.

7) Educate yourself……objectively and factually.

Google Cloward and Piven Read their philosophy of the 1960's
and tell me that it's not Obumma's playbook.

Read Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and tell
me it's not Obumma's playbook.

Look at who Obumma surrounds himself with. Look at his
appointments.

Look at who the Dems work with. Look at their affiliation
with Unions. Read todays Communist Party, Jarvis Tyner. Read their sites. Note
their support and affiliation with unions. Note their principles to "Save
the children and tax the rich". Put the pieces together and then you tell
me what is right.

In summary.......if one can't see what's going on in our
country today then one is intentionally blind. Obumma and the Democrats are
Socialists and Marxists and if you believe in Socialism, then have at it. If
you don't then examine your ideology, call yourself an Independent and call for
a pox on both their houses. That's a good start. I recommend that you take the
leap and call yourself a Tea party Conservative because the Tea Party
principles are what we need to drive us back onto the right path. Independents
are still searching for a leader and solutions and principles. Tea Party
Conservatives have already delineated our principles and beliefs and values and
we are driving in that direction and we are driving politicians into that
direction. I view Independents as agnostics. I believe Tea Party members are
drivers. We are the modern day Paul Reveres. We know where we want to go and
where we need to go and what we want from our government. We understand the
relationship between us and our government and we want to diminish our
government and elevate our people and stop this insanity.

So.....to answer the question of, “What is right?”...........................according
to me.....this is what's right!

Throw the Bums Out!

OUR MARINES UPSET THE TALIBAN

OUR MARINES UPSET
THE TALIBAN

Folks,

One of the
issues of this week is the debate over whether it was improper for our Marines
to desecrate the dead bodies of some Taliban terrorists by urinating on the
corpses. As one might expect, the liberal media has picked this story up and
they are pumping it up as much as they can. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
has come down hard on this handful of Marines and she says that she agrees with
Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, in , “…….condemning this deplorable behavior”.
She continues that she is in “Total dismay
at these actions and there will be a “……complete investigation” and that “……anyone
participating, knowing about it, or engaged in such conduct must be held
accountable”. To be fair and balanced, she also added some balance to her very
strong condemnation of OUR fighting Marines by stating that she believes that
our Marines hold themselves to a higher standard and that the majority of them
also find this act “deplorable”.

However…………Dismay?
Deplorable? Complete investigation? Anyone participating, knowing or engaging
will be fully investigated and held accountable?

Once again,
this administration appears to go out of its way to show the bad guys how much
we want to be their pals and how we will even eat our young to gain favor with
the enemy.

Juan Williams, Fox News Liberal, said these actions are “despicable”.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not condoning the behavior of the Marines but a few words explaining
how it’s unfortunate that they did this and that it’s not consistent with the
values of our Marines would be sufficient. Our leadership should save the
stronger words for the enemy that beheads people and kills women and children
and uses them as shields.

Below is an article quoting retired Lt. Col. Allan West, current Congressman from Florida.
I think he says it best.

A video came out this week showing some US Marines
'peeing' on dead Taliban fighters and it has created a firestorm of
controversy. Rep. Allen West who is a retired Army Lt Colonel with combat
experience commented on the video saying...

“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level
Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of
reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand
before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps
videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a
teleprompter.

“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth,
war is hell.”

Col West hit the nail right on the head! He is a
true American Hero and if we had a country full of people like him we would be
much better off.

All these people like Hillary Clinton (who does not like the military anyway) condemning
the Marines are ridiculous to say the least. So it is OK to kill them but
'peeing' on them after they are dead is a sin of the highest order.

It is the same 'pious baloney' as the Obama
administration shows when they try close Guantanamo Bay and give terrorist the
rights of US Citizens by bringing them to the United States for civilian trials
and at the same time say it is OK to shoot Bin Laden in the head and drone
strike a US Citizen. So which is it? Are we at war or not? There is no
in-between. Of course, killing Bin Laden and Anwar al-Awlaki was the RIGHT
thing to do. We are just using it as an example to show the hypocritical
thinking of the left. Anwar al-Awlaki gave us his right to US Citizenship when
he decided the USA was his enemy.

Here is a reference to our great General Patton.
If you read it then you might have a better understanding of what it is like to
be a soldier. George S. Patton, Jr., At the Rhine River……. From the Diary of
George S. Patton, March 24th, 1945:

“Drove to the river and went across on the pontoon
bridge, stopping in the middle to take a pi s s  in the Rhine, and then pick up
some dirt on the far side, in emulation of William the Conqueror”.

You cannot expect soldiers to think and act like
people who have never been in combat and you should NOT want them to!
Especially Marines! Marines are trained to do one thing...kill the enemy and
everyone in this country should be damn happy we have them.

A Soldiers family are the people next to them that they serve with. They have a
bond so strong with each other that 'civilians' cannot even begin to understand
it. Most likely every one of those Marines in that video has had members of
their 'family' killed by the Taliban. People like Hillary Clinton might have a
totally different view of the situation if someone in her immediate family had
been killed by the Taliban.

As Col West said, “As for everyone else, unless
you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

Well, you’ve heard from Hillary Clinton, Leon Panetta, Lt. Col. Allen West, and Gen. George
S. Patton. Now hear from me, carlo. As my dear, old friend Jack Ahearn used to

POST NEW HAMPSHIRE

Post New Hampshire

Folks,

Where are we now?
Let’s review.
Iowa and New Hampshire are behind us.
Romney has the lead.
Paul still has his youth crowd as he relives the ‘60’s.
Newt has gone negative in response to Romney’s Super Pac ads.
Santorum is very much alive.
Huntsman is in the way and has no chance. He should drop out.
Stick a fork in Perry.

Some questions………

Is Romney
another coronation choice of the Republican Establishment?
Is Romney a Massachusetts moderate or was he forced to use “moderate speak” to
get elected in Ted Kennedy country?
If nominated, can Romney successfully defend his “flip-flopping” (onpro-choice/pro-life, gaymarriage/unions, 2nd amendment, etc.)against the charges of Obumma?

Can Newt control his temper?
Are there any new skeletons in Newt’s closet?
Will Newt be able to survive an Obumma barrage accusing him of “arrangements”
with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and other questionable business deals?

Is Ron Paul for real with his foreign policy?
Does he really think that Iran can be befriended?
Does he really believe that if we have a nuclear capability, every other
country is entitled to same?
Does he really think that we would be as safe if we withdrew all troops from
the 130 countries that we occupy?

Can Santorum get enough traction to become a real contender?

Some answers…………………..

Romney has refused to solicit Tea Party support and/or endorsement. He has gone out of his
way to steer away from any connection to the Tea Party and he has carefully
answered every query on this subject to maintain neutrality, at best. Why?
Could it be he does not want to be beholding to the Tea Party because he doesn’t
want to be forced to lead our country to the far right? Or, is it because he
has calculated that a Tea Party endorsement would paint him as a “Right winger”
and that would cost him votes. Has he figured that maintaining a more moderate
position will enable him to snag the Independent votes, the Moderate votes, the
so-called Reagan Democrat votes, as well as the Tea Party votes, who are
obviously in an “Anybody but Obumma” mind set? It’s hard to determine.

Whatever the case, at least he’s no McCain. Romney has made it clear that he’s a Capitalist
and he’s pro-America. I believe he will certainly fix our economy and steer us
away from the European Socialism path that Obumma has a sliding down.

My problem with Romney is that he is the choice of the Republican Establishment. He was
recently endorsed by McCain. That concerns me. I don’t like the Republican
Establishment. They are part of the problem. They are business as usual. They
spend too much. They are afraid to fight the fight. They are always cutting
deals and usually getting outplayed by the Democrats and their Pravda-arm the
Liberal Media. I think Romney has decided to be beholding to the Republican
Establishment rather than the Tea Party. I don’t like that.

Now Newt is an interesting case. He has already demonstrated his ability and successes with
his Contract for America, balanced budget, Republican takeover of the House for
the first time in 40 years, welfare reform, and more Conservative victories.
His rhetoric frightens some but he is correct in many ways like when he
criticizes the courts and promises to impeach judges who violate the
Constitution…..like the recent case in Oklahoma when 70% of the voters voted to
prevent Sharia Law from ever being used in an Oklahoma court and the Judge and
the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals overruled the citizens…70% of
them. But what about his “baggage”?  Obumma will certainly attack him personally. The question is can Newt attack back without losing the voters? Apparently he has not demonstrated this art while
attacking Romney’s Super Pac ads.

I don’t like the class warfare attacks on Bain Capital and I think Newt made a mistake. He
had little choice. He needed to do something to fight back against the lying
Super Pac ads but he picked the wrong tact. Hopefully, Newt realizes that when
he stayed on message and remained positive he was winning the populace over. I
hope he gets back on track and stays positive.

However, I like Newt because the Republican Establishment doesn’t like him. They are afraid of
him. They know that if he’s elected, he will upset their little game that they
play with the Democrats and he will cut off some of their money streams and
power games. Therefore……I love Newt!

Santorum................. I think he’s the most principled candidate in the race. I think he’s a solid Tea
Party Conservative with basic principles of Faith, Family and Country. He has
an excellent record that supports his rhetoric. He’s passionate and sincere and
he has shown us that he is willing to work hard, long hours, and that his
family is willing to do it with him. He is committed and he is serious. I think
he is exactly what we need to swing us back to the principles and values that
made America so great. Can he catch on?

He did great in Iowa and surprised many. His New Hampshire showing was ok at 10%. He met expectations.
I believe his principles will glean a lot of supporters in the South. South Carolina
and Florida will reward Santorum and I think he will emerge as a formidable opponent to Romney.

Paul, Huntsman and Perry are toast as far as I’m concerned.

Now…who do I prefer among Romney, Newt and Santorum? I’d prefer Newt. I think he’s the best
Tea Party Conservative and the smartest candidate. That’s not to say that
Romney is not smart. He’s very smart and so is Santorum. Any one of these three
will be great for America. Newt will take us farther back to the right and
quicker than the others and he will topple the Republican Establishment. I
think that’s what we need. I’d prefer to worry about moving closer to center from
the far, far right rather than living just right of center while the
Progressives keep eating away at our foundations.

Well, that’s how I see it today. We’ll keep tuned in and maintain flexibility and reserve
the right to change our minds. In the meanwhile I am sure of one thing………..

THROW THE BUMS OUT!!!!!!

We Only Have Three Choices

We Only Have Three
Choices

Folks,

As the Republican Primaries continue, we each need to pay close attention to what each candidate represents
and promises and we need to be careful not to go for the head fake that the liberal media will attempt to sneak by us. We need to do our own research, analyses and investigations and we need to consider the source and the
motives. Most importantly, we need to dig out the facts and discard rumors, liberal media spin and innuendo. We need to educate ourselves and we must not buy into the sound-bites and the talking head bullet points.

When you boil it down we only have three choices:

1) There’s the Republican Establishment…………………………

They are the folks who run the Republican Party in Washington. They are
the RNC. They are the big money support that works behind the scenes and that
historically have decided who will carry the Republican mantle and represent
the Party in the election. This power base has given us Bob Dole, G.H.Bush,
G.W.Bush, John McCain and other moderate Republicans. This establishment
believes in the big tent philosophy and they attempt to be all things to all
people with the intention of broadening the base to attract more votes from the
middle-center, center-left (so-called Reagan Democrats), the Independents and
the Republican base. To accomplish this task, The Republican Establishment
softens and/or disguises the Conservative principles and usually ends up losing
the election because their cause is poorly defined and watered down, not to
frighten anyone, and their principles have been softened and compromised.
If they win the election by putting a moderate, middle of the road, big spending Republican into our White House, he works closely with the Democrats and acts very much like the Democrats. Our country loses either way.

As you probably have already figured, I am anti-Republican Establishment.

Now the interesting fact is that Mitt Romney is the choice of the
Republican Establishment and I am not anti-Romney. I think Mitt will do a
decent job as president but I don’t think he’s the guy we need. We need someone
who will do more than a decent job. We need someone to clean house. We need
someone who will expose the Democrats for what they are (Liberals,
progressives, Socialist, Communists, Marxists) and who will play hardball with
the liberal media. We need someone who will not tweak Washington or direct a
slight turn to the right. We someone who will engineer and lead a 180 degree
hairpin turn into the opposite direction!

      2) There’s the Libertarian faction………………………

This group is defined by Ron Paul. Ron Paul has a very sound fiscal
policy and a strong, almost literal adherence to our Constitution. During times
like these, when we’re dealing with an extended recession and over-spending, a
Libertarian philosophy sounds good and promising. Ron Paul will not nibble
around the edges. He promises to “fix” our economy and resolve our debt issues and
strengthen our security through fiscal soundness. Quite honestly, Ron Paul
excites me when he talks about how he will fix our economy and I believe that
he will. However, whenever he comments on foreign policy, Ron Paul scares the
Hell out of me. I hope Ron Paul is not our standard bearer. If he is, I’ll vote
for him because I’m an “Anybody but Obumma” guy. But…..I hope it’s not Ron
Paul. By the way, I don’t think it will be Ron Paul.

3)   3) There’s the Tea Party………………………..

This group began in 2009 as a grass roots movement against Obama’s plan
to “Fundamentally Transform America” to a European Socialist State. It supports
the principles of smaller government, less intrusive government, free market
Capitalism, lower taxes, more growth, Conservative policies, Right to Life,
Secure borders, English as the official language of the United States, American
Exceptionalism, energy independence through clean and safe drilling for oil and
gas, as well as nuclear power and alternative energy development, balanced
budget amendment, entitlement reform, and more. I like everything about The Tea
Party and I’m a proud charter member of this group. I believe that the Tea
Party will be around for some time and I believe that the Tea Party will save
our country by influencing which Conservative candidates get elected. I believe
that if we elect a Tea Party endorsed Conservative to the White House and give
that president a Tea Party endorsed House and Senate, with a veto proof
majority, we will right the good ship America in every way and we will undo all
the Obumma atrocities that have been inflicted upon us for the last few years,
as well as those mistakes that were implemented before Obumma.

All our current candidates are good choices (except for Huntsman, in my
opinion). The thought process that each of us needs to go through to select our
candidate is based on what we believe needs to be done to right the good ship
America.

The bottom line is how bad do you think our problem is. Personally, I
think we are in serious trouble. I
believe that Obumma has made great inroads in tearing down our free market
Capitalist Enterprise and has sown the seeds for Socialism. He has made
“Redistribution of Wealth” a common phrase and an accepted political program.
He has broadened the welfare state, increased the expectation of entitlements,
food stamps (47 million Americans), extended unemployment (99 weeks), and zero tax (49% of Americans). He has encouraged the Occupy Wall Streeters to demand money from the rich. He has planted
the seeds for Socialism and Communism and Marxism and he has almost 50% of our
country on the government dole and voting for more handouts. He has ruined our
reputation overseas, confused our allies and bowed to our enemies. He has accelerated
our debt by adding $4 trillion of debt to our balance sheet in three years on
top of G.W. Bush’s $4 trillion added over eight years. He has added liberal
judges to our Supreme Court (Soto Mayer and Elena Kagan) and he works around
our Constitution every chance he gets. Additionally, he has prematurely pulled
our troops out of Iraq, to keep a campaign promise, and will be the cause of
the eventual fall of Iraq to the powers of Iran, Al Qaida, and all the other
bad actors in that neighborhood. He has not introduced an energy independence
plan; he has empowered the EPA to stop our energy programs; he has unilaterally
decided that alternative energy is the way to go and he has implemented the
conversion from fossil fuel to wind and solar and battery without any proof
that it will work and without any dual process testing. This Socialist/Marxist
has single handedly decided to “Fundamentally Transform America” and his Democrat
cronies have helped him. As I said, personally, I think our country is in
serious trouble and we must throw the bum out, along with all of his Democrats
and RINOs.

Now, as to what choice do we need to replace the Bumma. If you believe we
just need some tweaking and we can reverse the Obumma decisions with a business
as usual program, then you want the Republican Establishment candidate. That
would be Mitt Romney. He’s a good man but calling him a Tea Party Conservative
is a stretch. At best, according to his record, Mitt is a solid Moderate. So, if
you believe we need to make a sharp 180 degree turn, rather than a bear right
turn, then you want to consider Ron Paul or one of the Tea Party candidates
(Gingrich, Santorum). Note: Michelle Bachmann is a great Tea Party candidate
but she just dropped out of the race. Rick Perry claims to be a Conservative,
and I believe he is, but he doesn’t have the gray matter for the job. So we
need to choose between Ron Paul or Gingrich or Santorum.

Personally, I think Ron Paul would make a great Secretary of Treasury.

Santorum has good credentials and he has proven to be a Conservative over
the years…..through his actions in the Senate. If it’s not Newt, then I’m fine
with Santorum. Both of them have proven that they are serious Conservatives and
that they are sincere. Newt has some “Baggage” and Rick is relatively pure.

So, don’t let the liberal media tell you that only Mitt is electable. I think
we can beat Obumma with Mitt; we can beat Obumma with Newt; and we can beat
Obumma with Santorum. In fact, I think we can beat Obumma with Ron Paul…but I
don’t think he will be the nominee. I think that Obumma has been exposed as a
liberal, Socialist, Progressive, Communist, Marxist, anti-American mistake and
I think we will win in a landslide no matter who we put up against him.
However, I’d like us to elect the Tea Party Conservative that will make the
most dramatic reversal for our country. That’s Newt or Santorum!

Gingrich has proven he can get the job done and he understands that we
need a 180 degree hairpin turn. I like both Newt and Santorum. Until I see
more, Newt is my choice!!!!

Throw the bums out!

A WON WAR LOST

A Won War Lost

Folks, Obama has kept his campaign promise to get out of Iraq, (“The wrong war”), before the
end of 2011. He has done so against the judgment of his commanders on the
ground. He has pulled out ALL U.S. troops. His commanders suggested and requested a contingent of 15,000 American troops be left behind in Iraq for another couple of years. Obama asked his generals;
listened; and then made his decision, contrary to their advice. Obama made a political decison!

The day we removed all U.S. troops, the violence returned in a big way and that very day
is when Iraqi president Nouri Al-Awiki began to work closer with Iran and some
other bad guys in the region. Don’t forget the message of my blog several
months ago when I warned about Al Sadr. He is Iran’s man in the Iraqi
Parliament and soon we will read his name in the papers telling us how he has
mischievously created a schism in the government and how he has caused a civil
war to break out in Iraq.

Obama made this political decision unilaterally and against the advice of his generals on the
ground. Obama, a man with no military experience, little Senatorial experience,
no executive experience and very little life experience made a unilateral
decision that flies in the face of his best advisors. Any one of us with some
life experience can predict what will happen next. The U.S. victory in Iraq
will be reversed and instead of Iraq being a friendly democratic country in the
middle of the Mid-East, it will be a country in turmoil, with innocent people
getting slaughtered daily and women being subjugated and enslaved and children
being educated to hate and Sunnis fighting Shiites and Kurds fighting both of
them. Isn’t it strange that the poor people will bear the brunt of Obama’s
political decision and how these poor people are the very same people that the
Democrats purport to Care about? All of this death and mayhem is easily
predicted and obviously knowable. The only thing that we don’t know yet is how
the Democrats will find a way to not own this decision and how they will
eventually re-write history to blame this disaster on the Republicans. Rest assured
they will and they will do so successfully!

Obama has single handedly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory!

Throw the bum out!!!!!

CLASS WARFARE

CLASS WARFARE

Folks, let’s analyze what’s going on in our country. There are many, many, good, solid, honest Americans who believe that Wall St and CEO’s and Bankers and lots of the rich people are the bad guys. There are many, many good, solid, honest Americans
who claim that they are Conservatives, Republicans, Tea Party supporters who agree with smaller government, spending cuts, fiscal responsibility, balanced budgets, lower taxes, American Exceptionalism, Capitalism, and all the other Conservative planks yet they think that something needs to be done with millionaires and executives that get million dollar bonuses and that the government needs to do something about the ever-increasing spread between the top 1% earners and the rest of the country. Let’s
discuss this.

Let’s consider an individual who gets an idea for a business and starts it up in his/her garage. He invests his time, money and takes the risks required to advance his idea and grow his company. He borrows money from a bank and works long, hard days and nights to get the business started. He does everything properly and legally and then……. at some point, the business catches on and sales boom. The owner can’t keep up with the demand and so he hires some help. He pays the employees commensurate with the skills required and the value that each brings to his business. He provides medical benefits as required by law and runs his business in a legal fashion. Fair? Seems OK so far, doesn’t it?

Everyone is happy in the early years. The employees are glad to have a job and happy to be working in a company that’s growing and that offers security rather than a business that’s downsizing or losing market share. The owner/boss is happy because he keeps hiring and growing and his company is becoming more and more profitable.

Now let’s project ahead 10 years. The business is really booming and the owner/boss is making $5 million profit this year. Now, all the employees that helped make his business are making only $ 50,000 to $75,000 per year. These salaries are commensurate with the talents, skills and value that the employees bring to the business and they are just as good or maybe a bit higher than similar jobs in the marketplace. Hence, one can conclude that the employees are being compensated fairly.

Now, why should anyone have a problem with the owner/boss who is pocketing $5 million
profit in salary and bonus?

Why should the government want to tax the owner/boss a higher rate than the
employees?

Why should the Occupy Wall Streeters complain that the owner/boss has more than
he needs and that there are lots of people who have little or nothing?

Why is that any of their/anybody’s business?

Well, folks, this is the nature of the class warfare that Obama and the Liberal Democratshave managed to introduce into our daily lexicon. While not too many years ago the scenario above was a celebrated example of success and the beauty of Capitalism and the Free Enterprise System, today it has become daily conversation to criticize and question such success stories and to target the
millionaire owner/boss as some sort of greedy, hard hearted, mean spirited Robber Baron.

How did this happen? Why did this happen? One consideration is the fact that the world economy has been in recession for several years and that our American economy has been very slow to recover. Hard times do strange things to people. Neighbor
will envy neighbor. The “Haves” will resent the “Have Nots”.

Another consideration is the fact that the political rhetoric from the top leadership in our country has set the tone for envy and class warfare by continuously preaching a doctrine of “fairness” and “Redistribution of Wealth”. If the leader believes that the system is unfair, then many of those in the 99% will begin to view themselves as victims of the system and the next logical step is they will resent the 1%, rather than strive to join the 1% strata.

Additionally, when the politics in Washington is favoring some form of European Socialism and some form of Socialized medicine and a tax the rich philosophy, then the general populace will embrace class warfare and demand that the rich be forced
to contribute to the less rich. That, my friends, is the beginning of the end. The end of Free Markets; the end of Capitalism; the end of American Exceptionalism; the end of individuals striving to be better than their parents and to accumulate wealth and improve their lives. What replaces these individual drives is a sense of entitlement and a demand for more support from
the government. Such a climate leads to bigger government, higher taxes on the rich, less investment and less risk taking, less growth, less jobs, more government help and more European Socialism. Where will this all lead? Look towards Europe for a barometer. Greece! Italy! France! Portugal! Ireland! They are all broke and the victims are rioting in the street because the government cannot fulfill the empty promises that they made to feed and clothe and house and employ everyone by taxing the rich more and more. It sounded like a good idea but the government didn’t bother to consider that the rich would stop
working at being rich because the reward was not worth the effort.

Where did this European Socialism concept come from? Google Cloward and Piven. Read Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”. Research Chairman Mao and his class warfare program that resulted in students reporting teachers and employees reporting
employers as anti-government Capitalists.

Folks, if you take the business scenario described above and convert it from a private company to a public company, the same logic applies. Today we are encouraged by Washington, Obama, and the Progressive/Liberal Democrats to find fault with CEO’s and executives who walk away with multi-million dollar bonuses. The question that needs to be asked is did they break any laws? If not, then what’s the beef? If it’s a public company the leadership should be policed by the Board of Directors and the shareowners. If the executives are “looting” the company, then there are mechanisms in the free market system to correct those activities. If the executives break any laws, then they should be tried in a Civil Court and if found guilty, they should pay the appropriate penalty as defined by law. The point is that we are a country that is 235 years old and we are a country of Law. We have the best functioning judicial system in the world. If we need to update and reform some laws, the process exists to do
that. We have everything that we need to manage any grievances and or indiscretions. We do not need Obama and the Progressive/Liberal Democrats to assume the role of judge and jury and to decide what is “Fair” and how our wealth should be
redistributed according to their values and beliefs. We do not need to destroy the “Free Market System” to work our way out of a Recession (that has been worsened and extended by the Obama/Liberal/Progressive/Socialist policies). All we need to do is allow and encourage our businesses to grow. We need a leadership that will encourage investment, which will lead to growth, which will lead to jobs. We need a leadership that will allow us to drive towards energy independence which will lead to jobs, growth, economic upturn, lower gas prices, lower food prices, lower clothing prices, more investment, more consumer confidence, and more growth. Of course, if we unleash our growth potential, the millionaires will get richer, but……..the middle class will then have more opportunities to move up to the upper class and to improve their lives and the lives of their children and grandchildren. This is how we’ve done it for the last 235 years and this is how we grew to become the richest, most powerful
“Land of the Free and Home of the Brave” in the world.

Oh, one more thing…….what if those greedy Capitalists take their profits and get more greedy and decide to reinvest some of their profits back into their company and grow their company and hire more people and make more profit. Well, isn’t that good?
Well Ok, but what if those greedy capitalists then decide to send their work off shore because they can get cheaper labor and the taxes are much less? Aaha! Now we have a problem because the rest of the world has industrialized and we now have a global market place with global competition. Well, it looks like we have finally found a job that requires government involvement. Our government needs to reduce taxes to attract businesses to America in this competitive world market. If our government believed in Capitalism and reduced taxes on businesses, and attracted more businesses to America, then we’d experience growth
and we’d increase employment and then our government would get increased revenues from the business’s success and growth. That’s how it works.

Well, folks, thanks for listening. I hope this blog will give you some food for thought. We all need to be aware that this Obama “Transformation of America” is not a good road for us. European Socialism is a failure and although Capitalism has its bumps and bruises, if the laws are constantly upgraded, reformed, and enforced, Capitalism offers every American the opportunity to rise as high as they are willing to work.

In the words of that great leader, Sir Winston Churchill, “Socialism is a philosophy of
failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is
the equal sharing of misery”.

Throw The Bums Out!!!

God Bless America!

Temporay Payroll tax

Folks,

What's wrong with this picture?

Obumma wants the Republicans to extend the TEMPORARY payroll
tax cut for another year. I said TEMPORARY payroll tax cut. I guess he'll
extend it for one year at a time so our government can wrestle with this picayune,
side show issue every year at Christmas time....or as Obumma would say, at
Holiday time. Note: this is another “EMERGENCY” that must be resolved before
Congress can go home for the Christmas Holiday. How many times will these
clowns in Washington play the “Emergency” card? How stupid are we?

OK. Let’s accept this inefficient leadership and this flawed
process for a moment. Instead of fixing the root cause, Obumma will continue to
Band-Aid this issue with annual TEMPORARY fixes. Why should we expect any
efficiency from him? He’s never worked any job, led any organization, improved
any process, etc. he has zero experience at efficiency.

So, the Republicans continue to do the job that we sent them
to Washington to do in November 2010 and that is to cut spending and act like
adults. That means that they can agree to Obumma's political pandering and
largesse .............as long as it
gets paid for
.  Now, I call this
payroll tax cut a political issue because it really doesn't mean a hill of
beans to most Americans. It's about $85/mo. for a year. That's about $22/ week.
I'm sure some folks are at a close to break point in this economy but many of
those folks don't have a job to begin with and therefore this payroll tax
extension will not affect them one iota.

Today, the Republican House passed a bill to extend this
payroll tax cut, as Obumma and the liberal Democrats requested, and they did so
by figuring ways to pay for this additional spending. Part of the solution was
to go ahead with the Keystone Pipeline from Canada which will create tens of
thousands of jobs and supplant  8% of our
energy that we currently depend on the Mid East to provide. Instead of getting
this oil through the Strait of Hormuz, we’ll get it from good ol’ friendly
Canada, our wonderful, friendly nation to the north. Seems like win-win doesn’t
it?

Guess what? Obumma and the Dems don't like that solution.
They insist that this additional spending must be paid by increasing taxes on
the rich. Harry Reid said that this bill will not pass the Senate and that only
a solution with increasing taxes on the rich will succeed.  Class warfare? Socialism? Redistribution of
wealth? Government central planning? Why isn't anyone in the liberal media
asking the Liberal Democrats why they won't compromise? Are only the
Republicans expected to compromise?

Additionally, why is Obumma so opposed to this Keystone
Pipeline? It has been environmentally investigated for three years already and
Obumma now says that he wants it to be investigated further until AFTER the
2012 election. Why? More politics?

Folks, if you have a brain you have got to be able to see
through all of this. This is clear evidence of a Socialist agenda and hard ball
Chicago politics and Obumma isn’t really interested in creating jobs or in
improving our energy independence, or in cutting spending. He is interested in redistributing
wealth and continuing his pro-Socialism drive to transform America, as we know
it. It’s clear as the ears on his head!!!

Anyone who will vote to give this inexperienced, failing
president, Socialist/Marxist another 4 years to transform our great country (that
requires reform, not transform) into a failed European Socialist state has got
to be an idiot, an anti-American, a lunatic, an uninformed imbecil, a
Socialist, and/or  a person who does not
love his/her children and grandchildren. That’s right! This bum is destroying
this country for our kids and grandkids. So, please open your eyes and please
convince the idiots that walk among us that we need to ……………………THROW THE BUMS
OUT! The bums are Obumma, ALL the Democrats and ALL the RINOs.

If I were President...........

If I were president……………………

Most Americans are kindly people. We are inclined to give a
man the benefit of doubt. We tend to cheer for the under-dog and we bend over
backwards to make sure that we are not viewed as mean-spirited, extremist,
racist, and radicals. However, most Americans are not naïve, nor are we fools.

For the past several years, we have been fed a bountiful
host of lies, deceit and loose statements, as well as several rounds of Three
Card Monty.  From whom? Obumma!

Folks, in case you have been too busy working or more
likely, looking for a job, our economy is in the tank. Obumma has taken credit
for saving us from the brink of disaster that he inherited from Bush and he has
already told us that we had the Summer of Recovery. He has taken credit for
creating over 2 million jobs and he tells us that he has done a brilliant job
but there is still more to go.

The real facts are that we were never on the brink of
disaster from the Bush presidency. Our economy was weak and we were in the down
spiral of the standard business cycle. Obumma and The Democrats exaggerated the
situation and then “saved us from the brink”. They acted like the guy with a match
in one hand and a water bucket in the other.

Obumma also claims credit for delivering 2.4 million jobs.
Well, as I always say, there is some truth to that statement but overall it’s a
lie. Usually, job growth is calculated from the first day of a presidency. If
that were the calculation, Obumma has reigned over a paltry 1.2 million job
growth. If you calculate the job growth from the formal end of the recession in
2008, then he’s presided over the growth of 2.4 million jobs. So what’s the big
deal? He’s using the figures that are most favorable to him. Don’t they all do
that? No, they don’t all do that!

Now, Obumma is on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard and he
promises to give us a speech regarding his plan for job growth when he returns.
No rush! Jobs are his #1 priority……after
his vacation
. In fact, jobs have been his #1 priority since 2009 but he
squeezed in his disastrous,  job killing,
tax increasing Healthcare bill and the Debt Ceiling argument and the Professor
Gates “Beer summit”, and his State of
the Union speech when he failed to mention the state of the economy and jobs
until the very end of his almost 1 hour presentation , and just about
everything else except job creation.

His White House minions have prepared us for his post
vacation speech by leaking some of the content and ideas. Guess what? It’s the
same speech we heard back in 2008 and 2009. He wants to do the same things he’s
already attempted and poorly executed. For example…. He wants to spend more
money (in spite of the November Election mandate to cut spending and in spite
of the S&P AAA  downgrade) with a new stimulus for
infrastructure,  repairing our roads and
bridges. I wonder what he’ll call it this time. Last time it was called “Shovel
Ready Jobs”. Well, no matter what name he changes it to, he expects us, the
American fool voter, to applaud his creativity and insight….again.

He also will promise to increase taxes on the rich (continued
class warfare)and to get rid of those nasty old Bush tax breaks for those
making over $200k. He will recycle this argument even though the numbers on
these tax increases are negligible in terms of reducing our debt and deficit.
In fact, most economists agree that tax increases are the worst thing to do in
a Recession and many economists believe we are heading into a double dip
recession.

Additionally, he has some new game breakers like modifying
the patent laws so that inventors will be more encouraged to roll out new
inventions and ideas. Does this sound preposterous to anyone other than me?
Could our patent laws be a major contributor to our economic malaise? I’m not a
major economist but my instincts tell me that this is not one of the top 25
items that we should be worried about and that this action will have zero
impact on our limping economy.

Then he has some more “targeted spending” that he believes
is necessary for education so that we can save the future. Will somebody please
give this guy a fiddle so he can play, as we burn?

Ok, it’s easy to criticize, you say. What would I do if I
was president? Well, I’m glad you asked.

First, I would make an argument to you that there are just
as many scientists that decry man-made climate change than there are that
support the argument. I’d venture to guess that more decry it but I can’t find
the numerical facts on this. Suffice it to say that there are lots of
detractors and that there is still no absolute, complete, undeniable evidence
that man is causing climate change by burning fossil fuels and CO2 emissions.
So, my first presidential speech would be to suspend the belief in this Al Gore
scam while I commissioned a bi-partisan committee of scientists, politicians
and academicians to investigate and report with facts and specific data.

After suspending the Global Warming….oops…I mean the
man-made Climate Change belief, I would immediately declare war on importing foreign
oil and commit our country to 90% energy independence by 2020, beginning right
NOW! My first action toward this goal would be to open up domestic drilling in
the Gulf, Alaska, Mid-West shale, Debaaken Fields, etc. This would immediately
put 87,000 Americans back to work. My next act would be to encourage, rather
than outlaw, the drilling for natural gas, including Fracturing. This would
employ over 100,000 Americans. Then, I would tell the EPA to get out of the way
on building Nuclear Plants and this would employ hundreds of thousands more
Americans. What about Japan’s accident you ask? Well, what about it? France
gets 80% of its electricity from nuclear plants and they’ve had no accidents. Are
we better than France? Duh!!!!!

Now, we can predict that as soon as I, the president, take
these few initial steps, the price of oil futures will drop like a stone. That
will cause a drop in the price of gas at the pump. Note: I’d still encourage better
mpg café requirements from car manufacturers and I’d do that through tax
incentives. Watch the dominoes fall. When the price of gas at the pump goes
down, the cost of food and clothing will drop. A rise in Consumer confidence will
follow these bread basket decreases. The rise in consumer confidence will
result in more consumer spending , which will result in business expansion,
which will result in more jobs and less unemployment, which will result in more
revenues into the Federal Government. Funny how these things just start rolling
when one makes the right first moves.

But let’s not stop there. Let’s go after those $2-4 trillion
that are overseas in expatriated dollars. Those are the dollars that our multi-national
companies have earned overseas and that they are keeping out of America so they
don’t have to pay 35% taxes on those earnings. I’d grant a waiver on taxes for
the return of that money into America for investment. To further encourage such
a move, I’d reduce corporate taxes from 35% to 20% to become the lowest taxing
country in the industrialized world. That move would attract all sorts of
businesses back to America, creating all sorts of jobs and increasing revenue
to the Federal Government. Notice how the revenue increases to Washington
WITHOUT raising any tax rates!!!!!

Then I would drop Capital gains tax to 0% to encourage more
investment in American manufacturing and Production and I would eliminate the
death tax, once and for all, so American citizens can again believe that they
can work and produce and achieve and that they can provide for their families
and their off spring and future generations will benefit from their sweat,
rather than the Federal Government.

Additionally, I would address that demand for a “Comprehensive”
Immigration policy by first sealing the borders and I mean really sealing the
borders, using Army Engineers, UAV’s, army patrols, GPS monitoring, dogs,
infantry, fencing, moats, and whatever else I need to really seal the borders.
Next, I’d resolve the problem of the 20 million illegals that are already here
ILLEGALLY, and I’d do that using several tools. First, I’d get a court ruling
interpreting  the 14thamendment
as it was intended to be interpreted and ultimately eliminating the anchor baby
insanity. Then I’d crack down on employers that hire ILLEGALS with heavy fines
and jail time. Then, I’d encourage ICE to pick up every ILLEGAL and I’d set up
a judicial group to deal only with these cases, with rules that are sensitive
to the issues of duration, family status, military service, and the like. Of
course, felons, recent interlopers and multiple offenders would be immediately
deported. The initial steps of sealing the border, and fining and jailing offending
employers will immediately discourage new illegals and these actions will
actually reduce the existing 20 million to a lesser number, while virtually
eliminating any new entrants. This plan would soon resolve the issue and replace
it with a managed, measured program that controls the numbers and the types of
immigrants based on our needs and ability to absorb and assimilate.

Folks, I could go on and on to solve all the other problems
that face our great nation including our involvement in the Mid-East, our
foreign aid program, our entitlement programs of healthcare, Medicare and
Medicaid, as well as Social Security (which is really nothing more than a 3rd
grade math exercise. None of these problems are too big for America. All we
need is a leader and some political will. Today we have no leader and Obumma’s
political will is to fundamental transform this great nation into a European
Socialist nation. He’s attempting that and he’s doing a lousy job. However,
even if he lacks leadership towards his goals, his failures will get him there
anyway. We have only one choice and that is to get Obumma out of the White
House in 2012. We need to reclaim America’s greatness and as I explained above,
it is not as daunting a task as Obumma and the democrats would want you to
believe.

Throw the Bums Out!

Let’s return to greatness…..ASAP!

Should we increase the debt ceiling?

Folks,

Should we increase the debt ceiling?????

More slight of hand.

More head fake.

More BS.

For those of you who still think that we need to tax the rich more so that
the government can grow and offer more entitlements let me offer some
FACTS to all you sympathetic, compassionate, kind, near
sighted folks.

The so called rich (those making over $200k as individuals and $250k as a
family) already pay the majority of taxes.

The top 1% earners pay 40% of total taxes.

The top 5% earners pay 60% of total taxes.

47% of Americans pay ZERO taxes!!!!!!!!

47% of Americans pay ZERO taxes!!!!!!!!

RE-read.......47% of Americans pay ZERO taxes!!!!!!!!!.......and ......
The federal Government wants to increase taxes on the rich so it can pay the
entitlements to those who pay ZERO taxes. How far can this Ponzi Scheme go?
Think about it. What's the number? Should 60% pay Zero taxes? 70%? Why not 90%?
How about if everyone paid a fair tax or a flat tax. This would be revenue
neutral.

The more taxes, the bigger the Federal Government.

The bigger the Fed, the more entitlements.

The more entitlements, the more dependent citizens.

The more dependent citizens , the more votes for the
democrats/Liberals/Socialists/Marxixist.

    The more votes for Democrats, the more we become a Socialist country;
the less entrepreneurialism, risk taking, investment, invention, expansion,
jobs, etc.

47 million Americans are on food stamps. That's 16% of our nation. The
Democrats want to care for these people and if necessary, increase the
assistance, amount and numbers. The Democrats insist that The republicans could
care less about these people and would just as soon see them dying in the
streets.

The Fed takes in approximately $170B income/revenue/taxes every
month.

The Fed's monthly debt is $303B every month.

If your household budget was $170B, and you were over-running your budget
every month, you would have to list all your expenses and prioritize
same......or ....................you could keep borrowing off your credit card
(the equivalent of the fed borrowing from China to pay our debts and issuing
more bonds and increasing our debt ceiling).

Let's be reasonable and list our debts.

    $50B/mo for Social Security

    $50B/mo for Medicare and Medicaid

$30B/mo for Interest on our debt

$ 6B/mo for military pay and Vets support

The above expenses total $136Billion/mo leaving approximately $34B for all
other entitlements and expenditures. That's not enough to cover all other
expenses so do we need to prioritize payments and cut spending programs or
should we borrow more money and continue to increase entitlement spending?
Remember, we already borrow 40cents of every dollar we spend!!!! That's right,
we borrow 40cents of every dollar we spend. Is that too high? Can we afford to
borrow more? Can we afford this level of deficit spending? If you needed to
balance your budget would you decide to not pay interest on your debt? Not if
you didn't want to be sued/have pay garnished/go bankrupt/default. You might
start looking at all the stuff that the fed is doing that it shouldn't do and/or
that it's wasting money on or fraud.

Now Obumma and his merry band of Marxists use scare tactics and tell us
that The Republicans want us to default and not pay seniors their Social
Security checks, or medicare payments, and they want us to stop paying our
military. Now can any reasonable and rational person buy this mantra? Sounds
crazy doesn't it? Yet, it works...for some reason. Republicans really want the
fed to act responsible. We want the fed to act responsible. We, The People,
voted in Novemebr 2010 and we threw out a load of Democrats and gave the House
to The Republicans and told them we wanted them to bring our country back to
fiscal responsibility and to cut the size and power of the federal Government,
and to cap spending, and to pass a balanced budget amendment so this insanity
doesn't happen again!!!! Well, that's what Paul Ryan is trying to do with his
proposal, which Obumma and the Democrats have been demogogueing since he offered
it. By the way, Obumma and the Democarts have offered nothing but rhetoric. they
have not evewn offered a budget for the last 18 months. This is a joke. They sit
on the sidelines and overspend us into $14.5 trillion of debt, blame Bush and
offer no solutions except to ask for an increase in the debt ceiling and when
the Republicans push back and demand fiscal reponsibility through spending cuts,
spending caps and a balanced budget, Obumma and his Marxist pals demogogue. And
some Americans keep complaining about corporations not paying enough taxes and
demanding that the rich pay more taxes. Are we crazy?????/

The solution?

1) Get "Real", specific, trackable spending cut concessions for every
dollar of debt ceiling increase on a 2 to 1 basis, ie more cuts than debt
increase.

2) Cap all future spending in the budget to correct our spending trajectory
twards a balanced budget by a specific date in the near future.

3) Pass a balanced budget amendment so that we can sustain a balanced
budget once we achieve same.

4) Do not increase ANY taxes!!!!!!!

5) Cut corporate taxes. Note bene: The USA has the highest corporate tax
rate in the industrialized world. This tax policy is driving businesses abroad
and keeping trillions of dollars from repatriation.

6) Introduce effective tax reform along the lines recommended by Obumma's
commsission (Erskine /Bowles) and introducing a flat tax with fairness for EVERY
American

7) Stop class warfare!!!!

8) Throw Obumma and the Democrats OUT!!!!!!!!!

The Real battle in Wisconsin..............

The real battle in Wisconsin…..…….

The Democrats claim that Republican Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin wants to break the back of the Public Sector Union. They are correct!

Folks, make no mistake about it, the Democrats are correct when they say that Governor Scott Walker is trying to break the back of Public Sector Unions. They are accurate when they say that the Republican Governor wants to take away the collective bargaining power of the Public Sector Union.

Wisconsin is a perfect example of the ideological differences between Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Marxists and Republicans, Conservatives, Tea Partiers.

The Democrats want power to the Public Sector Unions. The Republicans do not!
The Democrats support Public Sector Unions for the purpose of votes, power through entitlements and securing a base of 12% of the working people as a Democrat voting block. The Republicans oppose this entitlement philosophy and need to break this Democrat voting block. Now let’s analyze this a little deeper and go below the surface of TV bullet points and political rhetoric.

There is a major difference between Public Sector Unions and Private Sector Unions. Public Sector Unions represent government workers; people who are paid by our taxes. They include teachers, firemen, police, IRS workers, EPA officials, DMV employees, Postal workers, Medicare and Medicaid employees, and every other Federal, State and local city government employee. Private Sector Unions represent those workers who work for private corporations.

Now let’s discuss Collective bargaining rights. When a Public Sector Union is exercising that freedom of Collective Bargaining it is negotiating with a government official for salary and benefits. When a Private Sector Union is exercising Collective Bargaining freedom, it is negotiating with a private employer; a corporation; Wall St. Do you see the difference?

When a government official is granting salary increases and benefit increases to a Public Sector Union through the collective bargaining process, that government official is negotiating away OUR tax money. He/she is actually giving away money/benefits that are not theirs. They are giving away OUR money! When a Corporation is agreeing to salary/benefit increases through the collective bargaining process, they are approving the distribution of corporate profits. It is the corporation’s money, not tax payers! It is a sharing of profits, not someone else’s tax money. Therefore, it is readily apparent that negotiations between a Public Sector Union and a Government Agency will easily deteriorate to largesse and give-a-way benefits to secure the political support of these government employees and to lock up this voting block. That’s why the Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists and Marxists of the world always promise more than they can deliver to win the support and votes of the public sector employees and that’s why the Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists and Marxists of the world constantly work to grow government and increase the size of government employees and government payrolls. The more people on the government payroll, the more votes for the government party that feeds that group of government empoyees. And that’s why the Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists and Marxists of the world always need to increase taxes and take more and more from the private sector, to feed their political machine and to ensure their continuous re-election through constant expansion of their dependent power base. This is a basic difference between free enterprise and Socialism/Communism/Marxism!

Therefore, what we see taking place in Wisconsin, New Jersey, Ohio and many other states that elected Republican Governors on 11/2/10 is an attempt to stop this evolution to Socialism through the growth of larger government. A larger government will result from a larger number of Public Sector employees. Note that the numbers of Public Sector employees has grown by 10 % over the last two years, under Obuma and that Public Sector salaries and benefits have outpaced Private Sector salaries and benefits over that same period. Public Sector employees now average $89,000/year, salary and benefits combined. Private Sector employees average $58,000 /year for salaries and benefits combined. These discrepancies have taken place over the last several years and Obuma has effectively used his Community Organizer skills to advance this Public Sector concept.

Undoubtedly, this ideological difference between Democrats and Republicans has now reached critical proportions. That’s why the Tea Party wants smaller government, less spending, less taxes, and that’s why the Republicans are slashing government spending and fighting to eliminate collective bargaining (for benefits only) from Public Sector Unions. Make no mistake about it this is a real fight for our way of life, as we know it. This is a real fight for Free Enterprise and Capitalism vs. European Socialism and a government run economy. This is a real fight against the redistribution of wealth and the transformation of America. This is a real fight against Obuma’s Hope and Change. This is a real fight against Public Sector Unions because Public Sector Unions are nothing more than a tool for an ever expending, greater spending, more taxing, less efficient government, with more centralized power and less private, free enterprise competition. It is a fact that the more the government spends, the less money there is in the Private Sector and the less money in the Private Sector means less economic growth and less jobs and more unemployment (that’s the European Socialism system) because the government doesn’t grow jobs, the private sector does. The government doesn’t innovate, the private sector does.

In summary………….we had better hope that Governor Scott Walker and the rest of the Republican Governors win their battle to destroy collective bargaining for Public Sector Unions because that is the first step to slowing down this Democrat juggernaut designed to capture the voting booths and to tip the scales of free elections from a fee enterprise economy to a government run economy, with more government Public Sector employees, more citizens dependent on government entitlements and less Private Sector workers to fund this Ponzi Scheme called Socialism!!!!

Finally, please note that Obuma’s Community Organizer experience is all about supporting Public Unions, growing government, increasing dependents on government entitlements and securing an ever expanding voting block to fundamentally change America!!!!

Throw the bums out!

What If........

What If………..

Folks, here are some thoughts for you to consider……………

What If….. Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives did not spend their political capital in 2009 and 2010 obsessed with the Obummacare health bill and instead focused on the economy, and jobs?

What If…..Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives did not spend the last two years attempting to spend us out of the recession and instead implemented traditional methods of stimulating the economy through the Private Sector?

What If…..Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives did not instigate class warfare and instead pulled our country together?

What If….Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives had not doubled our already inflated national debt over the last two years by spending and spending?

What If….Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives did not spend the last two years forcing their European Socialist agenda down our throats and driving their agenda to Redistribute the Wealth?

What If…..Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives did not increase government regulations and in fact made existing regulations more efficient and effective?

What If…..Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives demonstrated support of business and Wall St. rather than demonizing them?

What If…..Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives did not stop oil drilling in the Gulf and instead encouraged energy independence through oil drilling, building of clean coal burning plants, construction of nuclear plants and offering government incentives to motivate and drive private industry to develop and implement alternative energy resulting in a smooth and intelligent transition away from fossil fuels……….instead of just talking about our need to implement a comprehensive energy plan?

Note: Obuma and his Dems/Libs/Progressives controlled the Executive branch, and the House and Senate for two full years without any possible Republican obstruction and they did nothing to develop and implement an energy independence plan. Not even an attempt!

Considering all the above, now wonder if the current Public Sector Union protests in Wisconsin (and other states to follow) would have ever occurred if our states were not broke and if the Public Sector Unions were not promised such unsupportable benefits by the Democrat/Liberal/Progressive politicians in the past?

I contend that if Obuma had demonstrated responsible leadership with intelligent priorities we would have been out of this recession last year and our states would not be broke and, wrong as they may be, the Public Sector Union benefits probably would not have become such a frontline issue. Consequently, the Ponzi Scheme of Big Government Entitlements (Liberalism, Progressivism, Socialism, Communism, Marxism) would have continued on and on.

Note that our unemployment is still at 10% plus those that have stopped looking, accepted lesser jobs, and those that resorted to part-time jobs of another 9.6%, totaling almost 20%. Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives have failed at restoring our economy and they have proven, once again, that Liberalism, Progressivism, Socialism, Communism and Marxism is nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme that is not sustainable and that results in more financial pain for a larger number of people.

Today’s Public Sector Union protests are due to our present day financial crisis, which Obuma has not improved one bit over the last two years. In fact, I believe he has actually exacerbated our fiscal ruin with his Progressive tax and spend policies and with his failures to prioritize. His priorities have clearly been:
- Obumacare
- Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell
- Closing Gitmo
- Supporting the building of a mosque at Ground Zero
- Suing Arizona
- Supporting the Black Panthers as they intimidate voters
- Extending unfunded unemployment benefits
- Introducing shallow, short-lived programs like “Cash For Clunkers” and CFL light bulbs, which are little     more than Three Card Monty tricks
- Blaming Bush for everything
- Redistributing our Wealth with rhetoric to increase taxes on the rich and to increase entitlements for the rest.
- Making speeches in the Mid-East/Cairo 2008; instigating activism; and then declaring that the US cannot meddle or support the activist protesters against the tanks and dictators

Nonsense! We need leadership! The Governors of many states are now faced with the difficult task of making the tough decisions and bringing fiscal responsibility back to our country on a state-by-state basis. And what are Obuma and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives doing? They are supporting the unions against the states (for political vote-getting reasons) and arguing against the action taking Governors!!!!!!!!!

We need a leader not a Community Activist!
