Et Tu (Supreme Court
Justice) Roberts?
Disappointed?
Disillusioned? Stunned? Disgusted? Surprised? Betrayed? Forlorn? Desperate? Frustrated?
Astounded? Speechless? Angry?
Folks, my
emotions are all over the place. Chief Justice Roberts has really screwed up
and he apparently has been “talked to”; or someone has pictures of him; or his
meds are not working anymore.
The
frustration comes from the fact that the Liberals elect representatives and
they NEVER sway from their purpose. The Conservatives elect representatives who
become unpredictable. We can NEVER count on our own team. Roberts joins the
ranks of Olympia Snow, Susan Collins, John McCain, Scott Brown and so many
others who we expect to be in our camp but who pull a Benedict Arnold.
This morning
I am stunned. Where do I turn, next? Who do I support?
This
Obamacare has been a long string of roller coaster disappointments.
We had the historic
election of Scott Brown filling Ted Kennedy’s Senatorial seat and tipping the
scales in favor of the Republicans, or so we thought.
Then we had
the Democrats strategy introducing the
Nuclear Option to neutralize the Scott Brown election.
Then when
the Nuclear Option wasn’t enough to get this abomination bill passed, The
Democrats initiated the Nebraska Corn Husker bribe and the Louisiana Purchase
bribe.
Then we had
Nancy Pelosi, the height of absurdity, bold-facedly telling us, an intelligent
people, that we needed to pass the bill so we could find out what’s in it.
Now we have
the Supreme Court voting down the entire bill as unconstitutional, only to have
that decision reversed by our very own, George Bush appointed, conservative,
CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS who actually re-wrote Obama’s bill (by referring to it as
a tax, when the Democrats insisted it was not a tax) and then reversed his
position, and joined the Liberals on the court.
What next? Are
there any more options? Is it worth getting all worked up again? Can we muster
another attack? Well, those among us with strong convictions say that the final
recourse is for the people to defeat Obamacare at the polls on Election Day,
November 2012. We’ll need Romney to be elected, along with a Republican House
and Senate. Can it be done? Yes it can but……if we elect a Republican House and
Senate, will they vote Republican or will we experience another surprise as a
handful of Republicans cross the line and vote with the Democrats? Folks, I’m
tired, disappointed, frustrated and quite frankly, I’m feeling a little bit
depressed over the events that have taken place to date. However, I’m going to
stiffen my spine, one more time, and I’m going to do whatever I can to convince
everyone I can that the ONLY way to beat this is to elect Tea Party
Conservatives (not just plain ol’ vanilla Republicans) and simultaneously Throw
The Bums Out!!!!!
