Once again, these Democrats/Progressives/Socialists/Marxists/Communists demonstrate hubris and arrogance and contempt and disdain for us, the American voter. They consistently demonstrate that they think we are idiots and that they can say anything and we’ll believe it. The fact is that their ideological base, the sheep without ears and without brains, DOES buy whatever they say but most of us who possess some critical thinking skills are aware of their game and their dis-like of American Exceptionalism and our proud history. Most of us are aware that today’s Democrats want to “change and transform” America, as Obama has stated numerous times.

Folks, the very simple problem with The Start Treaty is that there is some language in the preamble that allows for misunderstanding regarding America’s right to develop and implement a strategic missile defense program. This is the same issue that Reagan won from Gorbachev at Reykjavik in 1988. The Russians have managed to cleverly leave this issue ambiguous in this treaty language and the Republicans want to add an amendment to clarify this issue and ensure that there is no misunderstanding. Obama insists that his understanding is that there is no restriction on our implementing a missile defense program. He would like all of us to “……..believe him and stop being obstructionists and playing politics with America’s safety”.

Now I ask you, if this Treaty has been in Congress since April, 2010, what harm could possible come from waiting for the new Congress to be sworn in on 1/5/11 and for the Senate to have ample time to openly discuss and debate this missile defense issue and to include an amendment for clarification? We’re talking about a 3 week delay, after an 8 month delay. I suspect that the real issue is Obama and the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Socialists/Marxist/Communists do not want the language of the Start Treaty to be so clear and so definitive because then the Russians will not sign it and then Obama cannot claim that he has saved the world from nuclear disaster. Additionally, in today’s world, our present fear is not with Russia’s nuclear threat, as much as it a threat from Iran, North Korea and any rogue terrorist.

We must remember that Obama is a Community Organizer without any executive experience, little Congressional experience and questionable leadership skills. What we do know of him is that he is a fine speaker and he is an anti-Colonialist (reference “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” by Dinesh D’Souza). Being an anti-Colonialist makes him anti-American Exceptionalism and that makes him a clear and present danger to our freedom!!!!

So, it is imperative that each of us understand what’s driving today’s Democrat/Liberal/Progressive/Socialist/Marxist/Communist Party and realize that we need to continue to be activists and continue the “House (and Senate) Cleaning” that we so successfully started on 11/2/10. We must continue to Throw The Bums Out, including all the RINO’s (Republican in Name Only) that still remain.

In the meanwhile, call your Senators and tell them to hold the line against the start Treaty and to delay it until the new 112^th Congress takes over in two weeks.

If you still vote Democrat……………..

Folks, if you or one of your relatives or friends still vote Democrat, it’s time to check your brains. Here we are again, in the hands of Obama, Pelosi and Reid. Do you recall December 2009, when these three bums were scheming, conniving, bribing, sneaking and lying to pass Obamacare, in spite of the wishes of the American people? Well they are doing it again only this time with:

1)    The extension of Bush tax cuts ($900 billion package)

2)    The Omnibus Bill ($1.2 Trillion package)

3)    The Dream Act (for children of Illegal Aliens)

4)    Unemployment extension (for another 13 months on top of the existing 99 weeks)

5)    The Start Treaty

Item 1 above has been in existence for 10 years. The Democrats have controlled the House for the last 4 years. We are now down to the last few days of this Lame Duck Congress which the Democrats control. Obama, Pelosi and Reid have announced this is an EMERGENCY and that the Republicans are holding the Middle Class “Hostage”.

Item 2 above is a last minute 1924 page bill that has 6000 earmarks totaling over $9 Billion in pork, primarily from the Democrats, with a small number of idiot Republicans who have earmarks included (although, the Republican earmarks were installed before the 11/2/10 election). Obama, Pelosi and Reid say that if this EMERGENCY bill is not approved quickly, the government will shut down. This is a complete lie because all that Congress needs to do is vote for a CR (Continuing resolution) which has been used in the past to allow the current level of spending to continue until April, 2011. In the meanwhile, the new 112^th Congress will get sworn in on 1/5/11 and then have a chance to debate these expenditures and trim spending as the voters demanded on 11/2/10.

Item 3 above is a Harry Reid act which he held close to his vest until now. It is a bill which he promised his constituency he would introduce in order to get the Latino votes which just recently helped him (this preposterous idiot) get re-elected on 11/2/10. It is amnesty for children of illegal aliens. It is an end run around the open border issue, which the Democrats, who have controlled the Congress since 2007, have still not addressed with a bill. Now it’s another EMERGENCY.

Item 4 above is another Democrat initiated bill which the Democrats refused to bring up BEFORE the 11/2/10 election, because it is more deficit spending. They waited until the very end of the year and declared another EMERGENCY and now they are blaming the Republicans for negotiating and “wasting time”.

Item #5 is another EMERGENCY. The Start Treaty has been ready and completed since April, 2010. The Obama, Pelosi and Reid did not put this bill on the Congressional agenda until now. Today, Robert Gibbs, Obama’s spokesman, actually had the hubris to say that “…..every second that thois treaty is delayed is another second when we cannot inspect the Russian’s nuclear activities”. WTF????? What happened to all those seconds since April, 2010, when the Democrats failed to introduce this bill?

Folks, the Republicans need to stop every one of these bills and wait until after 1/5/11 to discuss these issues, when the Lame Duck 111^th Congress is gone and the new 112^th Congress is sworn in. Also, the new 112^th Congress needs to fix the Congressional process; eliminate massive bills; work towards short, simple, single issue bills; ensure the application of “Pay go” which was passed by the Democrat Congress years ago and waived over 200 times by the Democrat controlled Congress; and ultimately, drive some sensibility and logic into our Congressional processes. These bums are out of control.

Bottom line…………….the Democrats are an absolute joke. They could care less about the 11/2/10 election and the will of the people.

More Ideological Difference Between Democrats and Republicans

Today, 12/10/10 the democrats are balking at Obama’s compromise with the Republicans regarding the extension of the Bush tax cuts. The CBC (Congressional Black Caucus) and The Democratic Progressive Caucus as well as most of the Democrat party in the House refuses to sign up for this compromise. One of their primary objections is the Death tax (Estate Tax) agreement.

Currently, under the Bush Tax rates the Death tax is zero! Obama offered a compromise to a 35% tax on all inheritances above $5 million. The Republicans went along to get the extension of all tax cuts to every American for two years. The Progressives/Socialists/Marxists/Communists in the Democratic Party want it to be 45% on anything over $3.5 million.

Now I ask you. What more proof do you need about ideological difference? The Democrats believe that our money, which has already been taxed and re-taxed during our lifetime should not flow freely to our children and grandchildren but instead should go to the Federal Government so that they can spread it around to those total strangers who require (not necessarily deserve) entitlements. This is more of the redistribute the wealth concept. What right does the government have to any money that we leave behind?

Meanwhile, the Republicans, who are less than perfect, understand that our money is our money, have proven that they believe in a zero death tax. Who would ever vote for a Democrat? Only someone who has not been successful in this greatest capitalist nation in the world. A non-achiever. Someone who did not avail themselves of a better education; a better job; a start up business. Someone who did not work two jobs, or go to night school, or save their money, or learn how to invest their money, or spent every penny they earned on consumable goods.

Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner (well named) was asked if this Democrat assault on citizen’s savings at death would not infuriate the voters. He responded by saying that, “They won’t care because they’ll be dead”.

Folks, these Democrats have no respect for anything except bigger government; more intrusive government; redistribution of wealth (Socialism/Marxism/Communism); creating and growing more dependent voters; and generally deciding what best for each of us, rather than letting us decide for ourselves.

Bottom line…….when someone says all politicians are alike, please beg to differ with them.

If you are a working stiff with a desire to get ahead and advance and to educate your children they can advance and get ahead, you’ve got to vote Tea Party Republican. If you are on the dole with your hand out, believing that the government should care for you and your family and believing that you are entitled to other people’s money, then you are a Democrat and a problem to the rest of us. Grow up!

Ideological Differences

Some people argue that all politicians are alike. They are all crooks and liars. Well, that is arguable and debatable. An argument can be made that there is a distinct difference in the ideology of the different political affiliations. One can make a sound argument that Democrats and Liberals have a very different ideology from Republicans and Conservatives. There may be times when these differences are blurred, as when George Bush spent us into deep debt in his second term, but there are still distinct differences in ideology between the two parties. Some examples……

1)      Let’s discuss Gitmo. The Liberals and Democrats want it closed because they say it serves as a recruiting tool for Islamic Fundamentalists (but they won’t use the word “Islamic”). The Republicans want to keep it open for military trials and to incarcerate war prisoners until the war is over. These are two distinctly different positions.

Now if we dig a little deeper we’ll discover the ideological difference. The Democrats/liberals believe that war prisoners should be tried like criminals, including reading them their Miranda Rights. Eric holder, Obama’s Attorney general, has been arguing to try these prisoners in civilian courts. Today’s news reported that there is a 25% recidivism rate on war prisoners that have been released from Gitmo. That means that 1 in 4 of every prisoner released (and there have been some large number released) are recaptured on the battlefield. P.J.Crowley, Obama’s Assistant Secretary of State, stated today, 12/8/10, that a 25% recidivism rate is not abnormal for criminals. Both of these high ranking officials have no idea of the difference between a war prisoner and an everyday criminal. They want to treat both the same. This is a serious ideological belief and a serious difference between the two sides. This is also a danger to the American people and our soldiers.

2)      Let’s discuss Wikileaks. The Democrats/Liberals, like Charlie Rangel, want to capture Julian Assange and try him as a spy. Al Sharpton wants to remove Rush Limbaugh from the airwaves, along with MSNBC, because they are extremists on both ends of the spectrum. Cass Sunstein, Obama’s Czar and Ms. Clyburn, FCC Chairman (and daughter of Liberal Democrat Congressman Jim Clyburn/SC) are preaching in favor of “Neutrality Net” which is a government control of the internet and the free radio airwaves to ensure that extremist views are validated and proven accurate with penalties of lost licenses for freedom of speech if that speech does not meet government rules and regulations. Did you hear what I just said? Does this stuff sound like America? Does this sound like our Constitution? Does this sound like Venezuela or Russia?

The Wikileaks issue is obviously a problem in the Federal government. Someone (Pvt Manning and perhaps others) leaked government secrets. How come the focus is not on the root cause of who leaked the confidential material and what controls are missing? Instead of blaming the source, which is our Federal Government, our federal Government is going after the 1^st Amendment Rights of Julian Assuange. Now I don’t want to be defending a person like Assuange but I do defend his 1^st Amendment Rights. What’s different about Assuange and Fox News? Rush Limbaugh? Keith Olberman? Rachel Maddow. Each of us and our internet e-mails and blogs? This administration is trampling our Constitution and most Americans are going for the head fake and allowing this to happen right before our very eyes!!!!

These Democrats/Liberals/Progressives have an ideology that is based on bigger government, more far reaching government regulations, more invasive government, more debt, more entitlement, more spending, more taxes, less freedom, class warfare, redistribution of wealth, and other generally Socialist/Marxist concepts. The Republican party/Conservatives/Tea Party are ideologically the opposite.

As a footnote to Wikileaks, some of our government officials have stated that this leak of confidential information has occurred because after 911 George Bush worked on breaking down the barriers between all the various law enforcement agencies and encouraging the sharing of data. Now the problem is that these agencies are sharing data without appropriate controls. Once again, we have a government that is too big and that cannot multi-task. They can data but nobody thinks about controlling how the data is shared until there is some fallout. In the real work of private enterprise we call it gross Incompetence!

3)      Let’s discuss the Bush Tax Rates and Obama’s compromise to extend unemployment compensation for another 13 MONTHS, on top of the already extended 99weeks, which is all unfunded!!!!

What kind of ideology wants to pay people for more than 3 years if they lose their job? What’s the incentive to go find another job? Isn’t this another form of welfare? This ideology of entitlements is what has brought us to the financial meltdown place where we are today.

·        Today the top 5% of Americans pay 60% of the Federal taxes.

·         The top 1% of Americans pay 38% of federal Taxes.

·         The top 1% pay more Federal taxes than the bottom 95%.

·         Forty-Three per cent of Americans pay ZERO taxes.

This redistribution of wealth concept is a Marxist concept. Hasn’t anyone read history? Can free Americans be soooooooo stupid? Is our educational system so bad that the average American cannot see the folly of the Democrat/Liberal/Progressive entitlement ideology? Do our fellow Americans have no critical thinking skills? Speaking of education in America, does anyone read facts like the smartest 8^th grader in math, in America’s schools, is behind the lowest 6^th grader in Singapore? Why? Because the teacher’s in America are not as good as the teachers in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, and elsewhere and because the parents aren’t doing their job and because these parents expect the government to feed their children, and not discipline them, etc. Want another reason? How about the other Democrat/Liberal/Progressive ideology of supporting unions, like the Teacher’s Union, and tenure, in exchange for political contributions and votes.

Folks, it’s time to wake up. If you are an achiever and if you are not on the government dole and if you pay taxes, then it is time that you realize that your ideology cannot be with the ideology of Obama, the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives. You may not like everything about the other side but it has an American ideology based on smaller government, less spending, less taxes, more growth in the Private Sector, more freedom, honor for our Constitution, less regulation, less entitlements, etc. etc.

Wake up!!!
Take our government away from these Democrat/Liberal/Progressive/Socialist/Marxist ideologues and throw all these bums out. Also, throw out the head bum, Obumma! Also, throw out every RINO (Republican in name only).

He still doesn’t get it

Did you tune into Barack Obummer’s post-election press conference? The White House press corps did their job. They asked him the right questions. His answers were more of the same. He still doesn’t get it. He thinks that he did the right things and he just didn’t pay enough attention to “connecting with the people”. He said that he saved us “from the brink of an inherited disaster” but he was too busy managing the emergencies and failed to take enough time to make sure we all understood how wonderful he was and what wonderful legislation he and his Democrats were passing for us………. the unwashed and the unknowing.

He said that he understood why the American people are so frustrated with the pace of the recovery; the slowness of job creation; the concern of their kid’s future. Again, he attempted to focus the entire election lambasting as a complaint about the economy instead of a protest against his direction; his policies; his leadership style; big and intrusive government; excessive spending; excessive debt; a left wing agenda; and indecisive leadership.

He further stated that he would not be in favor of repealing the healthcare bill because he believes it is a good bill. He’s open to some tweaking like the issue regarding 1099 reporting which might be a bit more onerous than originally understood. Folks, this is more of his “giving the sleeves out of his vest”. We all know that every bill has some crap that’s built in intentionally, so that the sponsoring party can give in on these meaningless issues and demonstrate some bi-partisan behavior. The 1099 issue is a non-issue in the full scheme of the bill! Obummer still doesn’t hear the 80% of Americans who are against this Healthcare Bill. He believes we just don’t understand how good it will be for us. He actually said that the American people do not want to spend the next two years relitigating the last two years, when in fact, that’s exactly what we told him we wanted to do by throwing the bums out!!!!

 He also insulted us by once again creating a false dilemma and describing the Republicans as being against pre-existing conditions and carrying 26 year old children….which is nowhere near the truth.

Obummer then attempted to convince us that the American people are tired of the bickering in Washington and they want Washington to cooperate and compromise and to be civil to each other and to demonstrate bi-partisan behavior. Well isn’t that just peachy! What a surprise! After Obummer and the Dems ,”take a shellacking” (his words), he believes it’s time for everybody to just get along. This guy is sooooooo arrogant. He really thinks we’re all fools. Does anyone remember during the healthcare debate when he and Pelosi said,…….”Elections have consequences, you know”, and “We won”.

When asked if his leadership style might have been wrong and reuires some adjustment he went off on a long explanation and blamed the White House and the Office of President. None of it was him. His values are the same as they were when everyone loved his leadership style in the Iowa Caucus and throughout the campaign. The problem is not him. It’s the office and the scrutiny placed on the position. Is this leadership?

Finally, he gave his same old speech on his primary objectives of Education, Energy, and Environment only this time he referred to them as “Our kids futures”, Research and Development for green house gases”, and “Infrastructure”. He truly doesn’t get it!!!! If you watched this press conference and did not see an ideologue, you are blind!

Hey, 95% of Afro-Americans still think O.J Simpson is innocent. Hey, 98% of Afro-Americans voted for Obumma. Hey, 95% of Afro-Americans polled still say they will vote for Obumma. What does that tell us? It tells us that a large majority of Afro-Americans are selfishly silent. The large majority maintains a low profile. Rather than come out publicly and state their position, they remain selfishly silent and enjoy the benefits of reverse racism.

Latino's....Are All Latino immigrants a problem? Heck no! Legal immigrants are just fine, you might say. The problem is with illegal immigrants! Well, I suggest you rethink that position. Do you see the legal Latino's marching in great numbers against the Federal Government in support of Arizona? No! Do you see the legal Latino's actively railing against illegal immigration? No! What you do see is the Democrats catering to the Latino community, legal and illegal, with more entitlements and more spending, and you see the majority of that Latino community voting for the Democrats, against Republicans, who are painted as anti-immigration. Why don't you see the legal Latino's visibly marching and railing against illegals and supporting Arizona? Because ALL Latino's benefit from the Democrat's largesse and therefore, most Latino's vote Democrat and therefore, most Latino's are selfishly silent!!!

So, why are we, the majority of Americans, muzzled by cries of racism, bigotry, jingoism, and other derogatory terms?  Because the Progressives, The left, The Socialists, The Marxists, The Communists, The Democrats have claimed these terms as tools to silence us. They use these terms very effectively and the result is that those of us who are Christian and who love our neighbor, no matter what color or ethnic origin, are marginalized and silenced. They have put us in a position where we are afraid to speak the truth for fear of being labeled as a racist, or bigot. They have also created a political environment that pits American against American, race against race, special interest group against special interest group. The politicians "play" all of us and keep us at odds with each other. The last thing these politicians want is for all Americans to be united behind what's best for America!!!

It is time to speak out and it is time to speak the truth. If we keep silent and continue to allow this political correctness and Obamaspeak to control the airwaves and to frame the debate, we are all doomed!!!

Dr. Berwick’s Recess Appointment (July 2010)

While we were all enjoying our July 4^th holiday, celebrating the birth of our country, Barack Hussein Obama was playing King, once again. Obumma decided that, while we all were watching fireworks and singing patriotic songs and while Congress was home lying and begging for more money, he would appoint a man named Dr. Berwick to be the Head Administrator of The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Two years ago, in England, he delivered a talk celebrating the 60^th birthday of Great Britain’s National Health Service, the bureaucracy that runs that nation’s socialized medical system. He apparently entertained some fear that day that the Brits might turn back to free enterprise. So, in his address (as reprinted in the July 26, 2008, edition of the British Medical Journal), and as reported this week by Matt Cover of CNSNews.com, he offered British socialists some words of advice.
 
“Please,” he told them, “don’t put your faith in market forces—it’s a popular idea: that Adam Smith’s invisible hand would do a better job of designing care than leaders with plans can. I find little evidence that market forces relying on consumers choosing among an array of products, with competitors fighting it out, leads to the health care system you want and need. In the U.S., competition is a major reason for our duplicative, supply driven, fragmented care system.”
 

To Berwick, America’s health care system is not the model for the world. Great Britain’s is. In his view, it is vital for the Brits to hold high the flame of socialized medicine so the world can follow its lead.
 
“I hope you will never, ever give up what you have begun,” said Berwick. “I hope you realize and affirm how badly you need—how badly the world needs—an example at scale of a health system that is universal, accessible, excellent and free at the point of care—a health system that, at its core is like the world we wish we had: generous, hopeful, confident, joyous and just.
 
“Happy birthday,” the ebullient doctor told the British health care socialists. If you have not noticed already, this man has a crush on collectivism. “Cynics beware,” he said. “I am romantic about the National Health Service; I love it.” This love extends to approbation for rationing health care and using the health care system to redistribute wealth.
 
“You cap your health care budget, and you make the political and economic choices you need to make to keep affordability within reach,” Berwick told the Brits. “You plan the supply; you aim a bit low; you prefer slightly too little of a technology or a service to too much; then you search for care bottlenecks and try to relieve them.”
 
And they get to play Robin Hood in lab coats. “You could have protected the wealthy and the well,” he said, “instead of recognizing that sick people tend to be poorer and that poor people tend to be sicker, and that any health care funding plan that is just must redistribute wealth.”
 
Last June, after President Barack Obama signed the $787 billion stimulus law that included funding for a Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research, thus pre-positioning the federal infrastructure that would be needed to guide federal health care rationing decisions under a new national health care system, Berwick gave an interview to Biotechnology Healthcare that was brought to light this week in a report by Fred Lucas of CNSNews.com.
 
Berwick explained that there are three steps to “comparative effectiveness research.” The first is to determine whether a therapy works or not. The second is to determine how well the therapy works compared to other therapies. The third is to do a cost-benefit analysis.
 
“If a new drug or procedure is effective, and has some advantage over existing alternatives,” Berwick said, “then does the incremental benefit justify the likely additional cost?”
 
Now, in a free country where people freely chose to pay for their own health care with their own money, this is a good question for any prudent consumer. It is exactly that “free market force” that Berwick implored the British socialists not to put their faith in.
 
But in a country where the government has taken regulatory and fiscal control of the health care system—where the state is subsidizing most people’s care—and where government bureaucrats make the decisions about who gets what treatment, this question is not the animating moving force behind the invisible hand of the market, it is the dark materialistic spirit behind the iron hand of a life-and-death tyranny.
 
In the socialistic health care system that Berwick envisions—and that President Obama signed into law two months ago—life-and-death rationing is inevitable. “The decision is not whether or not we will ration care,” Berwick told Biotechnology Healthcare, “the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.”
 
President Obama has nominated Berwick to be administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the federal agency that runs these two massive proto-socialist health care programs. If confirmed, he will oversee the massive cuts that Obamacare mandated in Medicare.

Obumma decided that, while we all were watching fireworks and singing patriotic songs and while Congress was home lying and begging for more money, he would appoint a man named Dr. Berwick to be the Head Administrator of The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Here Comes the Single Payer Government Owned Healthcare….as promised

Folks, today several big businesses announced that they are considering dropping healthcare coverage for their employees because it’s cheaper for them to pay the government penalty than to pay for the increasing cost of healthcare. According to Obama’s healthcare bill, these employees who were dropped from healthcare will now be forced to go to the Government provided healthcare system. So…..Remember when Obama said that, “….if you like your doctor you can keep him, and if you like your insurance company you can keep it”? Well, he lied. He knew that these changes would occur and that these changes would force you to change insurance companies, because yours will be going out of business.

Additionally, some small companies are considering reducing their employee’s hours to less than 30 hours per week because that will exempt them from providing healthcare for their employees, according to Obamacare rules and regulations. Does this seem like it will help with unemployment? It won’t. Obama lied again!

So, as you can see, these business decisions, which are fostered by Obamacare, will eventually destroy the Private Healthcare Industry and that will lead to the eventual, Socialist, government owned and controlled Single Payer System, which Obama said he favored (in a 2007 speech to SEIU employees).

Now, what can you and I do about this? At the moment….NOTHING! Doesn’t that annoy tyhe heck out of you? We knew this was coming and we knew Obama and all the Democrats were lying to us every day but we couldn’t stop them and we couldn’t stop this healthcare bill. We couldn’t stop the Democrats from holding secret meetings and from passing legislation in the dark of night. However, don’t despair……. you can do something about it on November 2, 2010. Throw The Bums Out!

Make sure you and your family, friends and neighbors all get to the polls on Election Day, 11/2/10, and make sure that none of you vote for any Democrat because the entire Democrat party has been hijacked by Obama, George Soros, and the Progressives. Vote ONLY for Conservative Republicans. That’s our only chance to stop Obama from passing any more left wing legislation and that will stall Obama’s march to Socialism until we can Throw The Biggest Bum Out in 2012!!!

More Central Planning and Control…….&…….. Tea Party movement gains big “Mo”

I just spent another Sunday morning watching and listening to the Sunday morning political shows. I hate spending Sunday morns that way, but I find it useful in determining the opposition’s flavor of the week. As you know, every one of these hacks (Chris Matthews, George Stephanopoulos, David Gregory, etc) is a tool for the liberal press and in current times, a tool for the current liberal administration. These clowns are nauseating in the way they serve up soft balls to “all the president’s men”and insulting in the way they pretend to offer an unbiased account of the news.

This week it was Timothy Geithner’s turn (in place of the ever smiling, saccharine Christina Roma, or the irascible Paul Volker, or one of the other court jesters) to answer all the prepared and previewed questions and set ups. Geithner’s job was to be the advance man for Obummer’s new legislation that grants more power to the Federal Government over our Banking Industry. This centralized control legislation is all being done under the guise of doing , “What the American people want”, and to save us from another edge of brink financial disaster, like the one that Obummer recently (and single handedly) saved us from.

Of course, Geithner sprinkled all of his responses with a fair amount of political rhetoric making certain that he covered the chief comrade’s key talking points, especially, those that explained the need for bi-partisan support on this bill and how the Republicans need to get behind this bill rather than continue to be the “Party of No”. Can anyone say….”Healthcare Bill re-dux”? Strap yourselves in for this re-run. We’ve all recently seen this movie. The actors are the same, the plot is the same old power grab, and the script is practically repeated, word for word.

Speaking of repeats, another very well planned program was initiated this past Sunday by every one of Obummer’s talking heads, and supported in a most transparent way (not very cleverly disguised) by each of the so-called, un-biased political panels, comprised of various reporters and news commentators. They all made sure that they attacked the Tea Party Groups. The attack plan appears to be a centralized, from the top, David Axelrod scripted scenario that centers around a comparison between the Tea Party activists and Timothy McVeigh, whose dastardly fireworks anniversary comes up on April 19^th. Of course, each of these “news commentators” went out of their way to lambaste Sarah Palin for her fiery rhetoric and each of them reinforced each other’s views that if there is any violence coming out of this Tea party movement, it will be because of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck and Sean Hannity.

This is the Progressive’s way to control free speech and reduce the voice of the opposition. History is replete with such attacks on personal freedoms. Where? Check the history of any Socialist regime. Am I calling Obummer a Socialist? Now that would be stupid wouldn’t it? Everyone knows that we are supposed to be toning down the hate rhetoric. Is calling Obummer a Socialist hate rhetoric? The current administration and Congress, along with their state run media would like reasonable people to believe that. Are you reasonable? Do you believe that?  Perhaps a more politically correct way of stating the obvious is to shout that Obummer has some socialist tendencies; Obummer likes European Socialism; Obummer is working hard to redistribute wealth, which is a Socialist concept. Of course, none of this should be interpreted as calling Obummer a Socialist. We wouldn’t want to be so crass, would we?

Well, as a staunch Tea Party member and recent joiner of the Valley Forge Patriots, I am excited and overjoyed at this concerted attack on the Tea Party movement. This focus against us from the Left means that we are progressing (pardon the use of that word) nicely. We have advanced from being ignored, to being referred to as astro turf (vs. grass roots), to being under-reported in size, diminished, ridiculed, and demonized and now we are being set up to be blamed for the next catastrophe. This reads like a page out of Joseph Stalin’s play book. I guess we, Tea Party Patriots, are making an impact!!!

To quote Mahatma Gandhi….”First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

So, fellow activists, keep up the good fight and maintain the full court press. November is only six months away.

We Fiddle While Rome Burns………….

Folks, I’m sure you all heard the story about the frog in the warm water. As he relaxes, the heat is turned up and he feels so comfortable. Soon the heat is turned up higher and before long, the frog, who has been relaxing and complacent, gets cooked.

Well, that’s exactly what is happening to us, the people of America. While we argue and debate over Healthcare, “Reconciliation”, “Deem and Pass”, Global Warming, and Unemployment, Obama is transforming America, right under our very noses.

-This morning’s news (3/18/10) reported that more grandparents are moving in with their children to cut expenses and because they no longer can afford two homes.

-At the same time the News reported that government jobs have increased, while private industry unemployment will remain around 10%, or slightly higher, for the next several years.

-Additionally, we are being prepared to absorb increases in the coming costs of electricity. Increases that will approach 30%.

-Also, while we are all arguing over the healthcare bill process and “Reconciliation” vs. “Deem and Pass”, Obama’s team has added college loans as a rider to the healthcare bill. This will put the private lenders out of business, while increasing the government’s control over our children’s education.

-If the Healthcare bill passes, Insurance Companies will be driven out of business over the next few years, because Obama’s plan is to get his foot in the door and move towards the Single Payer Government Option, ala European countries’ Socialized Medicine.

-In the meanwhile, Obama has scolded Israel for building additional settlements, which means he is siding with the Arab leadership; Obama has “dissed” the UK with their Falkland Islands issue, and he has distanced America from Poland and The Czech Republic, Tibet, Taiwan and other former allies; Obama has removed missiles from Eastern Europe. It appears that those who were our allies have been rejected and those who were our enemies are still our enemies. Iran is still moving forward with nuclear development.

So, in just 14 short months, this man has “Transformed America”, just as he promised. What were we all doing during this transition? We were going for the head fakes.

Obama flooded the zone with multiple bills and pushed simultaneously on various issues. We, the comfortable frogs, lay calmly in the tepid water, relaxing, and believing that everything would be OK. Any clarions of danger were dismissed as conspiracy and Right Wing Nuts. Tea Party efforts were demonized. Town hall demonstrations were neutralized by a complicit media, who called them “Angry White Racists”.   

Folks, we have been bamboozled by a slick organization that has been working behind the scenes and waiting in the weeds for this very moment and this very opportunity. Again I implore you to Google “Cloward and Piven”. Understand their radical philosophy of the 1960’s and open your eyes to the current execution of same.

We are in the battle of our lives. Our country is being transformed right under our very noses and the majority of Americans do not approve. Yet, this administration and its supporters are plowing ahead at breakneck speed to implement as much as they can as fast as they can. Legislation like The Healthcare Bill, Cap & Trade, and Amnesty will place into law the fundamental underpinnings of this continuing transformation to Socialism and repealing these disasters will not be possible. Our free market system is being dismantled and our personal freedoms are being eroded away from us, quietly and surreptitiously. Our wealth is being redistributed, while we go for the head fakes and while we relax in the tepid, comfortable waters of the complacent frog.

Activism is the only solution. It may already be too late, but, we should at least engage the enemy of big government and Socialism, rather than walk sheepishly and quietly to our demise. Fight back! Be an activist! Defeat Obamacare! Defeat Cap & Trade! Defeat Amnesty! Defeat the transformation of America, and the spreading of our wealth and the scam of Global Warming! Be outraged at the chutzpah! Scream out! Act! March! Vote for Conservative Republicans. It’s our only chance to pull this pendulum back to center-right!!!

Ponzi Scheme or Conservative Ideology? Your choice!

For over a year we have been hearing the continuing argument over healthcare. Now, our politicians are engaged in Parliamentary tricks like “Reconciliation”, aka the “50+1 vote”, “the simple majority” and previously known as, “The Nuclear Option” (when the Republicans used it).

If any of you are news junkies, as I am, you have undoubtedly seen film footage, this week, of Obama in 2007, when he was a Senator, stating that to pass healthcare on a 51 vote, simple majority, would be a mistake. He said this when the Republicans were threatening to pass some healthcare legislation that the Democrats opposed. Now, of course, he has conveniently forgotten that statement and that position and he is now in favor of 50+1, as he declares….”…that’s what elections are for”.

The pundits make news over this type of hypocrisy and they present their fair and balanced approach by airing two talking air-heads, one from each side, to debate the merits of this hypocrisy. This silly debate, which is more like a recitation of each side’s bullet points, covers the standard positions…….

- Both sides do it

- They all do it

- That’s politics

- They always lie during campaigns

- All politicians lie

- Flip flop is nothing more than getting enlightened and changing ones original position

- And many more excuses.

The problem with this is that there appears to be a general acceptance of the fact that all politicians are hypocrites and liars and that they all say anything necessary to get elected and then they do whatever they want after they are in office. Well, that may be true but isn’t it crazy for us, the governed, to accept this premise as normal and OK? Shouldn’t we demand better?

You might ask how can we change this? Simply stated….we can change this by not accepting it. We can all call/e-mail the White House and protest whenever the president lies. We can do the same thing and call/e-mail Congress whenever a Senator or Representative lies. We can hold our elected officials to the highest standard, no matter what party they are in. And then we can put some weight behind our demands for honesty by Throwing the Bums Out after one term. If they lie, dump them. If they all lie, dump them all. Keep dumping them until the new bunch gets the message.

Recently, Senator Jim Bunning made a big deal about the new “Pay as you go” legislation. He, single handedly, held up the third extension of unemployment benefits by demanding that the Senate follow their own rules of funding any new benefit, before passing the bill. The result of Bunning’s Quixotic stance? Harry Reid insulted our intelligence by coming on TV and painting Bunning and all the Republicans as people who do not care about the working man and people who are willing to throw 100,000 Americans into the street by not passing this bill. Reid stated that Bunning ,”……..didn’t even vote for the Paygo bill and now he’s insisting that it be followed”. Think about that argument. It’s illogical and insulting to our intelligence. What does one have to do with the other? Reid doesn’t care about insulting our intelligence. Most of them don’t care about insulting our intelligence. Know why? Because we let them get away with it every time. You can be sure that the Democrats will remember this issue and use it in some partisan commercial when they need to distort some future election. You can also be sure that such a distorted ad will work with the uninformed among us, who will see it on TV and then quote the inaccuracy at the office. By the way, the facts are that Bunning’s stance on this issue did not delay a single unemployment check for one minute and there was no real threat that there would ever be any interruption of this ongoing entitlement.

But let’s not just criticize the Democrats on this one. Additionally, let’s consider the Republican Party position on this Paygo/unemployment benefits issue. The Republicans ran away from Bunning like rats fleeing a sinking ship. Why? Hypocrisy! They agreed with his position but they didn’t like the specific case. They did not want to be called mean-spirited. Now is that the leadership we want leading our country. What ever happened to courage to stand for what is right, even when it’s difficult?

Folks, our government is in bad shape. Our leadership is in bad shape. Therefore, it’s no wonder that our country is in bad shape!!! What do we need to do?

In my humble opinion I believe that all politicians are not the same and all parties are not alike. There are some good guys in Congress (both Houses and both Parties). I believe that we are obligated to actively support the good ones and to actively decry, defeat and oust the bad ones. The question is how do you determine the good from the bad. The answer is like everything else. You need to do your homework. You need to spend some time beyond just listening to the 6 O’clock news and reading the New York Times headlines and front page. You need to do some research and you need to listen to more than one source. Then, after you’ve become informed, you need to DEMAND more from every one of our politicians. 

Finally, I believe each of us needs to make an up front decision regarding ideology. What ideology do you support?  Do you believe in big government or small government? Do you support higher taxes or less taxes? Are you in favor of more entitlement programs? Do you support Capitalism or Socialism? Do you know the difference? Do you want America to compete in the global marketplace and win and be #1 or do you believe in the new world order, with world cooperation and spreading the wealth?

Folks, these are important questions for you to answer as you decide what ideology you want to support. Remember, as you decide your ideology you need to be informed. For example….you need to know that the top 1% of Americans  pay 40% of the taxes and the top 10 % of Americans pay 70% of all taxes. Furthermore, the bottom 50% of Americans pay only 3% of the taxes. Think about this. Research it. Then ask yourself what happens if this trend continues? Well, the same thing will happen that has happened to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and all other government entitlements. They go broke! Eventually, big government takes what seems to be a kind, humanistic, caring concept and it mismanages it, abuses it, distorts it, and eventually bankrupts it. Our government has converted every one of the aforementioned entitlements into a Ponzi Scheme and we are now at the end of the chain. We are broke.

So, what is your ideology? If you want to survive, it had better be an ideology for smaller, more efficient government, with less entitlements, and no spreading of the wealth. It had better encourage Capitalism by reducing taxes and encouraging free enterprise. Why should you support this ideology over the Democrat/Progressive ideology? Because the Progressive/Socialist ideology has never worked in any country and because Capitalism and the free market system have made America the world leader. By the way, for those bleeding hearts among us who care for the downtrodden and those that are from poor, underdeveloped countries, it is important to state that the survival of America as The World Power is critical for the rest of the world. For the last 234 years America has been the model for the rest of the world and a beacon of hope. America has been a place for them to admire and for many to emigrate to. America has supported freedom and democracy around the world and the best thing we can do for the world is maintain our power and strength and continue to encourage and support others to strive for democracy and freedom.

So, final question……. what party is the better bet for an ideology that wins for America and the rest of the on-looking world? The uninformed keep saying things like, “….. there’s no difference between the Democrat and The Republican Parties”. Untrue! There’s a big difference.

The Republican Party supports the values of smaller government, less taxes, less spending and less debt. They believe in individual responsibility, free enterprise, reverence for our Constitution and adherence to it as standing document (as opposed to a changing/interpretive document). The Republican Party realizes that America is a center-right country and they govern from that perspective.

Conversely, The Democrat party has been hi-jacked by the Progressives. Google Progressives. Research the Progressive/Socialist movement from the time of Woodrow Wilson, through Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, and now Obama. Google Cloward and Piven’s philosophy. Realize that there are 83 Representatives in The Democrat party who call themselves Progressives. Understand where Obama and the Democrats/Progressives are trying to take us in this “transitioning of America”. Then, after you understand the two different ideologies, as an informed citizen, ask yourself what’s better for you.

Of course, if you are among the more than 50% of Americans receiving more from the government than they contribute, then your ideology is probably for bigger government. But even if you are enjoying the largesse of liberalism and Progressive logic, you still must realize that this formula is unsustainable, just like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Somebody has got to work and produce something to earn money. Capitalism must prevail if some people are to benefit from the taxes of the working “rich”. If we keep spending money we don’t have and increasing our debt, then our economy will continue to deteriorate, and unemployment will increase, the government will be forced to increase taxes on the remaining, who still have a job and are willing to work, to make up for the lost revenues caused by unemployment, and our death spiral will continue like all those other countries that courted Socialism, because it sounded so caring, friendly, fair and comfortable.

Now all the above is not to say that The Republican Party is perfect. Far from it! However, the ideology of The Republican Party is the better of our two choices. Not because Republicans are more honest, or less hypocritic, or better people, but because their ideology is not a Ponzi Scheme. They still need to be managed by us, the people, and they still need to be thrown out and culled to periodically improve the lot. But, they are a better shot for us. What we need to do is continuously upgrade the Republican herd by demanding more Conservative Representatives and Senators. Conservatism is what we need to vote into office. Specifically, Conservativism as defined by the Tea Party movement, that will serve as the underpinnings for the Republican party ideology.

I ask you to join the “Anti-incumbent Revolution” in this year’s mid-term elections and Throw The Bums Out! Throw out all the Progressives and all the liberal Democrats and all the RINO’s (Republican in Name Only) and all the Leftists and Socialists. Vote in ONLY Conservative Republicans and then stay on their backs to bring America back; to cut spending; to reduce debt; to create jobs; to cut taxes; to toughen security and anti-terrorism tactics; to reduce the size of government, etc. etc. etc.

These are critical times. We need to change things in Washington for now and our future. Stay informed and stay engaged!
